These are the Body Lotions I purchased in my B&BW New Year Haul (here).
4 were Shower Gels that I’d purchased earlier and enjoyed enough to repurchase as Body Lotions, while 2 were complete blind-buys, making a total of 6 Body Lotions (as shown). Truthfully, I would’ve loved to have gotten my hands on Little Black Party Dress but it was sold out.
Normally, I wouldn’t buy this many Body Lotions all in one go… except these babies had been reduced to around $3 a pop (with the exception of Wild Strawberry which cost $6.25). They were basically 1 Kuwaiti Dinar each! It was too good of a deal to pass up!
With that being said, I’m not crazy enough to have them all open at once. I’m only going to be using one at a time and completely finishing it up, before moving on to the next one.
Also, all of them arrived sealed, which is what I’ve come to expect from the U.S. B&BW (unlike our local B&BW lol).
These are the Jar Candles I purchased in my B&BW New Year Haul (here).
After my last haulage of Single Wick Candles (here), I definitely didn’t need any more Jar Candles. Heck, I didn’t need any more Candles in general. However, things that smell good, just bring me such joy!
I really had my heart set on Bluberry Pie. Plus, there was a decent deal on Single Wick Candles (Jar Candles). Normally, Jar Candles retail for $14.50 but there was a Mix & Match: 2/$20 deal on them.
I also ordered a 3-Wick Candle in the scent Citrus Crystals (reduced from $24.50 to to $12.25) which I’d previously purchased during Candle Day (here), but I suppose they ran out because it never arrived.
Super stoked I managed to snag these two though! Aside from the cool black lids, the packaging was pretty blah, but I was more interested in the scents. I mean, how yummy did they sound?
They switched out the previous online promo on full size Showers Gels (dis) for a newer promo on full size Body Lotions. Plus, the 5 for KD 3 on PocketBacs was still ongoing.
I really didn’t want to risk any of them going out of stock and having to wait until next Winter to get my hands on Vanilla Bean Noel and Hot Cocoa & Cream and possibly never seeing Bali Black Coconut Sands or Bahamas Pink Passionfruit & Banana Flower again (who knew if they were going to re-release them again, next Summer).
So, 3 days after my previous online order (here), I placed another online order with Bath&Body Works. It was too good of a deal to pass up!
– Body Lotions were reduced from KD 5/500 to KD 2/500 each
– PocketBacs were 5 for KD 3
The total for this online order was KD 13
I placed my order on November 19 and it arrived safely the next day (free shipping over KD 9)
As you can see, everything arrived well packaged (including the pages and pages of receipt/invoice).
Currently, for “Black Friday” they’ve got 40% Off Sitewide and free shipping, meaning Body Lotions were reduced from KD 5/500 to KD 3/300.
Once again, I was glad I didn’t wait until “Black Friday” and got the Body Lotions for 50% Off instead of 40% Off.
Lastly but certainly not least were the Candles and Wallflower Bulbs I picked up during The Big Sale. Some were purchased in-store and the ones I couldn’t find in-store were purchased online.
I picked up x14 large 3-wick Candles and x2 Jar Candles and x3 Wallflower Bulbs. I haven’t started burning any of them just yet because ironically, for the past two weeks I’ve been sick with the flu (hence lack of new posts lol)
3-Wick Candles were reduced from KD 8 each to KD 4 each
Single Wick Jar Candles were reduced from KD 6 – KD 5 each to KD 2/500 each
Wallflower Refill Bulbs were reduced from KD 2/250 each to KD 1 each
If you check out my Spotted at The Body Shop post (linkage here), you’ll see every single item purchased in this haul and more! Unfortunately, these babies were on Sale when I purchased them and although the Sale is now over, they’ve currently got a Buy 2, Get 2 Free promo going on at the moment, which is equally sweet (if not better)! I picked up a Concealer and an Eye Cream, while the rest are all Skincare and Hair Care and Shower Gels, all of which smell amazing! If you’re planning on picking up a few things from The Body Shop, now is the time, because they’ve got a Buy 2 Get 2 Free deal!
I was actually at the Homeware section at Debenhams (top floor) to pick up a few Rose Gold Picture Frames for my adorable sister-in-law (my younger brother’s wife). They were going with a specific theme for their Living Room and I was planning on surprising them (well, her, mostly, ‘cuz guys kinda’ aren’t as interested in that kinda’ stuff) with the Photo Frames, later on. I was also starving because I didn’t get a chance to eat earlier. Plus, it was that time of the month, so I was craving some chocolate (which I normally can’t stand). So I grabbed a few snacks and some random items, from The Sultan Center (all the way at the opposite end of Soug Sharq Mall). Remember back in the day when they used to teach kids about Food Pyramids (grains, dairy, veggies, protein)? I managed to grab something from all the necessary food groups; Chocolate, Gummi Candy, Hard Candy, Potato Chips, and Savory Pastries.
I rarely stop by the Phase I or Avenues I branch of Boots (wedged in wall-to-wall with yet another Starbucks). Normally, I’d visit the Phase II or Avenues II branch of Boots (because it’s one store over from Bath & Body Works which is my usual haunting ground). However, I’ve been hitting up pretty much every single branch of Boots that I can think of, in search of Batiste Dry Shampoo – A Hint of Colour Medium & Brunette (featured here) because it seems to have vanished, country-wide (which makes me very, very sad). It had the nicest scent out of all of them, and the powder was tinted (matching my hair perfectly). That stuff was my favorite! So, if anyone happens to know where I can find it locally, please do share. I’d be much obliged to ya! Anyways, I was at Boots and opposed to just the Buy Two Get One Free deal that they’re usually promoting (which forces your hand into purchasing more stuff), they actually had a legitimate Sale going on (25% off most items), so I stocked up on a few “necessities”.
Get rid of the rough stuff
Our fresh and fruity shaving soap will have you dreaming of summer picnics every time you take a whiff. We’ve whipped fresh strawberries and egg whites with moisturizing rosehip oil, cocoa butter and coconut oil into a light, marshmallow-y soap that softens skin when you shave with it. Plus, all those hydrating ingredients keep post-shaving redness to a minimum!
I’m a die-hard fan of Nivea Cool Kick Shaving Foam (For Men) but this D’Fluff Strawberry Shaving Soap from Lush was just too cute to pass up. I first hauled it (here).
