These Fragrance Mists were from my U.S. B&BW Spring Haul (here).
Typically, Fragrance Mists retail for $14.50 but these babies had been reduced to $3.62 each, except for Underwater Oasis which was reduced to $7.25 only.
I’ve actually seen each and every one of these Fragrance Mists in-stores locally during The Big Sale (here) but I barely payed them any attention because they looked gross (not sealed, lightly tested, residue on the sides of the atomizer, etc…).
However, based on the success I’ve found with my previous Fragrance Mist Haulage (such good scents), I figured I’d try my hand at more, especially once they went on sale.
Most of them were from the Mediterranean Market Collection aside from one, which was from the Crystal Cove Collection.
These Body Lotions were from my U.S. B&BW Spring Haul (here).
After purchasing x4 Body Lotions locally (here) and then another x6 Body Lotions from the U.S. B&BW Store (here) I was fully stocked up and definitely didn’t need more.
However, the deals and promos and prices up on the U.S. B&BW Online Store were just too good to pass up. So, I picked up these two. I could’ve gone for more, but I was pretty content with the ones I already had.
Aside from Iced Pear Margarita (here) which I’d given to my 10yo niece and Vanilla Bean Noel (2018 Version) which I’d given to a friend whom – you guessed it – had asked for it (after she’d sniffed it on me), I was very happy with the ones I had left!
Even Wild Strawberry (here) I’ve found a use for, by placing alongside the Champagne Toast Fragrance Mist (here) at the sink in my guest bathroom. All that peach hurt my nose, but my friends ooh and aah over the scents, whenever they come over and use them, which in turns makes me happy because I’d managed to find a use for them.
In fact, I’m so happy with the ones I have left, that I’ve already given Portofino Pink Prosecco to my 13yo niece and Whitewater Rush to my younger brother.
– Whitewater Rush (Men’s Collection) was reduced from $13.50 to $3.95
– Portofino Pink Prosecco (Mediterranean Market Collection) was reduced from $12.50 to $3.12
As I said, the U.S. Bath & Body Works Online Store had some pretty good deals all throughout December! They were releasing new products and new deals pretty much on the daily!
The deals at the time of this order:
– Hand Soaps were reduced from $6.50 to $3
– Wallflower Fragrances Duos (2pc) were 3 for $27 (normally $12.50 each)
– Wallflower Fragrances (singles) were 5 for $23 (normally $7.50 each)
– Use code SANTA for 20% Off Entire Order
I decided to pick up a few Wallflower Fragrances and Hand Soaps.
Wallflower Fragrances make my home smell ah-mazing and they were on sale! Win, win.
Hand Soaps tend to smell great too and they were on sale as well ergo good time to stock up!
As if the previous promos (KD 1/750 Showers Gels and KD 2/500 Body Lotions) weren’t enough, seemingly out of the blue, Bath & Body Works had a Flash Sale… only days before “Black Friday“!
– 3-wick Candles were reduced from KD 8 to KD 3 each
– Shower Gels were reduced from KD 5/500 for KD 2/750
– Mini Perfume Sprays (travel size eau de parfums) were reduced from KD 4/500 to KD 1/750
– Hand Soaps were reduced from KD 3/750 to KD 1/750
– Fragrance Mists were reduced from KD 7 toKD 2/750
– Travel Size Fragrance Mists were reduced from KD 3/250 to KD 1/750
– Travel Size Body Lotions were reduced from KD 2/750 to KD 1/750
– Room Sprays were reduced from KD 2/750 to KD 1/750
– Wallflower Refills were reduced from KD 2/250 to KD 1
– Scentportable Holders (car fragrance) were reduced to KD 1
The total for this online order was KD 50/500 (free shipping)
Once again, I was feeling pretty smug about placing my order when I did, because the 40% Off promo they had for “Black Friday” (or “Cyber Week” as they call it on the site), was pretty disappointing and not nearly as good as the one they had during the Flash Sale.
I even included the percentage saved next to each item (nicked from their site, I didn’t math this time lol) just to show you guys the difference. It adds up, you guys.
Needless to say, I did not purchase anything online or in-store from our local Bath&Body Works during “Black Friday” (hard pass).
I placed my order on November 21 and everything (including the wasteful pages and pages of the receipt/invoice) arrived safely and well-packaged the next day.

Towards the end of June, Nordstrom came out with x2 more Sample Packs. One, was a mix of Makeup and Skincare (dis), which wasn’t particularly exciting. The other, was this Fragrance Sample Pack, which was very enticing!
For starters, it came with a sample of Mugler Angel Eau Croisière which I was dying to sniff! The pack also included several flankers of well-loved gourmands, Prada Candy and CH Good Girl and V&R Flowerbomb and YSL Black Opium and YSL Mon Paris! I was pretty excited about the samples from Atelier Cologne and Diptyque and Replica and my beloved Kilian as well! Also, most of these were new-new!
In hindsight though, I totally should’ve skipped the Fragrance Sample Pack (June) because it was mostly either floral-y florals (yuck) or overly sharp and citrus-y scents (namely Peach, ugh).
Choose a Free Gift with Your $85 Women’s or Men’s Fragrance Purchase. During our Scent Event, try samples from Jo Malone, Atelier Cologne, Voluspa and more. Promo code (PINK or YELLOW) required. Plus, when you spend $100, you’ll also get a “bonus” gift.
Nordstrom were having yet another Scent Event and giving away x2 Fragrance Sample Packs (your choice of Yellow or Pink, each with different fragrance samples) during the month of April. I’ll list everything included in both packs below. Both packs included several items that I already own, but as you can see, I decided to go with the Yellow mainly because the adorable, itty-bitty Yellow Cosmetics Bag looked more appealing to me lol I’ll also be listing all the notes below (if I can find them) for everything that came with the Yellow Pack. Lastly, since I spent well over $100 I also qualified for the “bonus” gift which was a Nest Grapefruit Reed Diffuser!
So my obsession with Perfumes was at its peak. However, I didn’t want to purchase them locally because they’d be more expensive and I wouldn’t receive anything else with them (as a gift with purchase or loyalty points or whatever else) no matter how extortionate the price was, and and I wouldn’t know if I was getting an older batch (potentially expired) and worst of all, I wouldn’t know if they were fake or not, but mostly I was anxious about purchasing locally because of this (Perfume Fail). If I bought them online, they’d be new, less expensive and more often than not, I’d receive a gift with purchase or samples or something. However, I wouldn’t be able to give them a sniff beforehand, and based on previous experience, I’m not really the luckiest when it comes to blind-buys.
Even though I’d love to, I couldn’t sign up for those monthly subscription boxes (such as Scentbird and the like) because the cost of shipping to Kuwait via Aramex, would add up to something ridiculous. In comes MyPerfumeSamples.com which was exactly what it sounded like! You pick out the scents that you wanted and the sizes that you preferred (with the pricing varying from scent to scent) and they’d ship them over. Up on the website, each scent had the fragrance notes and the year it was released and so on, listed next to it. I purchased a handful, in varied sizes.
– Sample Vials: smallest size and cheapest, comes with a dip-stick applicator (I only got 1)
– Pocket Sprays: bit bigger, comes with a spray mechanism and a cap (I got 5)
– Travel Sprays: substantially larger, comes with a spray mechanism and a cap, wider spread (I purchased 6 but only 5 arrived)
Each sample came in a plastic sachet of it’s own, with the name of the scent printed on the actual sample (so handy!) and they were all packed together in a bubble-wrapped package within a package. Since looking at plain samples can get boring, I decided to add photos of the actual perfume bottles as well. Now on to the Perfumes (samples) that I’d ordered…
I was at Marina Mall when I came across the fabled Jo Malone Boutique. I’ve only ever heard beauty gurus on YouTube talking about Jo Malone fragrances (at which point I would “X” out of the video because I didn’t think a Jo Malone Boutique would ever open up in Kuwait and due to shipping restrictions I would never be able to order any of their fragrances online so I wasn’t interested in learning more about them).
