I came across this cutie at Sultan Center (Salmiya) and couldn’t resist picking it up. I didn’t even know that Tang made these in this mini-size (48ml/1.62 fl oz) which is ridiculously cuuute!
For reference, here’s what it looks like next to my current phone.
This is another old-y but a good-y, and could always be found in our pantry (powder form, never liquid). I think there might be other flavors (powder form) but we just stuck with Orange. Personally, I used to really like Tang as a kid but I feel like it tastes funky now so I’m not as into it anymore. I only purchased this tiny thing of Tang because it looked so dang cute!
The guy who created Tang (chemist and occasional playwright William A. Mitchell) also created a bunch of other fun edible items including Pop Rocks, and Cool Whip, as well as a form of instant Jell-O. When it first came out Tang wasn’t as popular but when NASA selected Tang to be on the menu (1962) during Astronaut John Glenn’s Mercury flight and again during the Gemini program, a lot of people thought Tang was invented for NASA Space Programs (which is a common misconception) and so the powdered drink quickly gained popularity for that reason.
Skittles has got to be hands-down my all-time favorite candy of life! I absolutely love the way they taste! I also like the fact that they come in five different colors and flavors; Red/Strawberries, Orange/Oranges, Yellow/Lemon, Green/Green Apple, and my personal favorite Purple/Grape. It became a huge thing when they switched Lime for Green Apple and it seriously upset a lot of people. Obviously, I wasn’t one of those people because I absolutely adore Green Apple artificial or otherwise. The scent of an open bag of Skittles smells mouth-wateringly good to me! That’s why I tend to reference Skittles a lot when I’m reviewing flavored or scented beauty products. I love the scent and taste of Skittles!
