Bath and Body Works Haulage (August)

As I mentioned earlier (dis) Bath & Body Works were having a “Buy 2, Get 3 Free” promo going on, at the beginning of August.

Between the “Buy 3, Get 3 Free” promo over at Boots (dis) and the “Buy 2, Get 3 Free” promo over at B&BW, I wasn’t sure what was going on (is this even Kuwait?), but I strongly approved! Since I’d just recently decluttered my bathroom (dis), I figured I had room for some new clutter (logic!)

Saveco Haul (July)

Saveco happens to be directly on my way home from The Avenues, but usually I’ll ignore it and just keep driving (because after running around The Avenues, all I wanna’ do is just get back home). However, I had run out of some of my new-found favorite snackage from my previous visit to Saveco (dis) and needed to replenish my stock. So I made a quick stop at Saveco! Sadly, I ended up with more than a few duds this time.

Nordstrom Fragrance Sample Pack (June)

Get a Free Gift when you spend $85 on Women’s Fragrance. Discover your next favorite scent with samples from Diptyque and Tom Ford and Yves Saint Laurent and more.

Towards the end of June, Nordstrom came out with x2 more Sample Packs. One, was a mix of Makeup and Skincare (dis), which wasn’t particularly exciting. The other, was this Fragrance Sample Pack, which was very enticing!

For starters, it came with a sample of Mugler Angel Eau Croisière which I was dying to sniff! The pack also included several flankers of well-loved gourmands, Prada Candy and CH Good Girl and V&R Flowerbomb and YSL Black Opium and YSL Mon Paris! I was pretty excited about the samples from Atelier Cologne and Diptyque and Replica and my beloved Kilian as well! Also, most of these were new-new!

In hindsight though, I totally should’ve skipped the Fragrance Sample Pack (June) because it was mostly either floral-y florals (yuck) or overly sharp and citrus-y scents (namely Peach, ugh).

Spotted at Sephora (Perfumes)

I was at Sephora shopping for a birthday present for someone who was extremely difficult to shop for. While there, I hunted down a few of the Perfumes on my list that I’ve been dying to sniff (mostly Lancome). On a whim, I decided to check out some of the “private” and “exclusive” luxury fragrances (Tom Ford and Armani Prive and Maison Lancome and Geurlain and so on) and accidentally stumbled upon Kilian! I don’t know if an invisibility spell was cast on the display, but somehow I’ve never ever noticed it before! As per usual, there were no sales assistants designated to any of the displays and customers were just left to their own devices. I searched for Back to Black (because frag-heads on YouTube rave about it all the time) but couldn’t find it. I did however find my new favorite Perfume of life, but more on that towards the end of this post…

Mango Haulage

I was walking past Mango (Avenues) when something in there caught my eye and I decided to go in. I’d like to preface this by saying that I don’t recall ever purchasing something from Mango in the past, let alone several somethings. What I’m saying is this was pretty much my first Mango haul ever. At first the sales assistants left me alone as I did my usual lap around the store, save for giving me the stink-eye as if to say “What is this homeless-looking person (unruly curls, not a stitch of makeup, t-shirt, jeans, flats, and a backpack) doing in our store?” but once I had a huge pile of clothes, they all started hovering around me asking me if I needed any help (which I find extremely annoying because I prefer shopping in peace) so I put them to work by handing them my clothes to hang in the changing room for me as I continued my lap in peace.
