H&M Buy Two Get One Free (Avenues, Phase III Branch)

According to the Priveleges App, that I’d downloaded on my phone earlier, H&M’s collaboration with The Weeknd was just released in stores (beginning of March). Since I was pretty much obsessed with Starboy (mainly because of Daft Punk), I made time to go check out the collection at H&M (Phase III Branch). I wasn’t impressed with what was left (which had been very picked over) but I did find several exciting new pieces (that had nothing to do with The Weeknd‘s collab) and H&M also happened to be having a Buy Two Get One Free deal going on.

Daft Punk

I’ve always loved Daft Punk! They make great music! Technologic happens to be one of my all time favorite songs, to this day! I also really love Aerodynamic (that guitar solo is fire)! I believe that the French Duo, like all visionaries, are way ahead of their time! I’m utterly charmed by the fact that they never, ever remove their helmets which to me, makes them ridiculously endearing!

Zara Haul

I used to shop at Zara all the time, but for some reason I just stopped shopping there. In fact, bar the one time I went in there looking for a Zara City Bag (but didn’t find it) and ended up getting Zara Black Peony EDT, I haven’t been there in years. It’s not like I rarely shop there anymore. It’s more like I never shop there anymore.

With that being said, I loved my Zara Black Peony fragrance so much that once it was almost finished, I went back to get another (but I couldn’t find it, either) and ended up with two other Zara fragrances. While I was there, I noticed all the pretty clothes and it occurred to me that I should really start shopping at Zara again. I don’t even know why I stopped shopping there, for all those years. I mean during college, my wardrobe mostly consisted of pieces from Zara (short-sleeve shirts, graphic tees, and embroidered denim jeans, etc…). For the record, in the past, I’ve only ever visited the Zara branch at Souk Sharq. As such, everything in this haul was also purchased from that same branch.

Rain Boots Collection

As soon as I got an account with Aramex (towards the end of 2007) I immediately went crazy on Amazon.com and subscribed to every single girly magazines out there (read more about it in my Book Club post). This was back in 2007 and no I don’t have a good memory. In fact, I have the memory of a goldfish. The reason why I know the exact date is because I’m looking at my order history on Amazon.com. Also from Amazon back in December 2007 (like I said, as soon as I got an Aramex account) I ordered some more Manga, DVDs, girly books (the rest of Gossip Girl, The A-list, Shopaholic, etc…), clothes, jewelry, stuff from Sephora (finally!) via Amazon, and some shoes. Now here’s the funny part. My shoe size is 38… so I ordered a bunch of shoes in a US size 8 (just subtracted the 30 lawl). Logic! Clearly, that’s now how it works. In any case, I’ve always thought that Boots are the epitome of cool and I’ve always loved the way they look on myself and others. Sadly, we didn’t have much options in Kuwait (again, this was back in 2007) so I ordered several Boots from Amazon. Apparently I felt the need to order Rain Boots (plural, bearing in mind that Kuwait is a desert country… where it rains about three times per year) as well.

Zara Fragrance Haul

Since I’d just finished up the bottle of Black Peony that I’d purchased from Zara (ages ago), I went in there to pick up another one. Sadly, yet understandably (it had been several years, after all), I couldn’t find the one I wanted, but I did end up getting these two, instead.
