I’ve tasted Pineapple Juice from most of the available brands in the country and the winner (by far) is the one from Sunkist! It’s been my favorite drink of choice, I wanna’ say… since this past March.
Ever since I could first remember, I’ve always suffered (the struggle lol) from severe heartburn. I’d feel a fire in my chest and try to ignore it… until I couldn’t… and throw up.
That’s basically the gist of this entire post. If you can’t handle it, feel free to stop reading at this point.
It only took about ten years (not even joking), but the local Bath&Body Works website is finally up and running!
Rather than running around from branch to branch; triple-checking to see if the latest collection has been released in Kuwait yet, or hunting down a particularly hard-to-find Candle, or whatever, I can just order online now and have the stuff delivered straight to my home!
Yes, they don’t have coupons and stuff like they do in the U.S. and yes, the collections we get are still… limited (it’s the same stock, after all), but give them another ten years or so and they’ll get there, eventually (maybe) lol
I don’t particularly care for Arab Music because it all sounds the same to me. Rarely, if ever, am I moved by Arabic Music and don’t even get me started on the Music Videos that go along with those Arabic Songs. They’re just so… cheesy. The same goes for Indian Music. Worst of all, they blatantly
steal copy popular Western Songs (from the actual Music down to the plot-line of the Music Video). I’m well aware of the reason behind this specific formula, but it just doesn’t appeal to me. As such, I don’t watch/listen to Arabic/Indian Music.
With that being said, after decades of avoiding both, I was quite curious to see/hear if the Record-Breaking Song (75 Million Views within the first 24 Hours of its debut on YouTube) was worth the hype…
The song in question was called Paagal (which from my minimal understanding of Hindi meant “crazy”) and was by the Indian Rapper who goes by Badshah.
I was running
low out of my Personal Care favorites and had to replenish my stock. By now, regular readers will know that my “go to” was Sultan Center (Souq Sharq). While there, I snatched up some random snackage, which turned out to be yummy! Unfortunately, I seem to have lost the receipt (meaning no prices will be listed).
You really do run into rather strange people after midnight.
Even though I’d already ordered from Nordstrom at the start of June (dis), I placed another order at the end of June, mainly because I wanted a second Hair Care Sample Pack (dis) which happened to still be available (at the time). After this order though, I think I’m gonna’ cool it with Nordstrom (for a bit). It’s just too hot to be ordering stuff online.
Anyways, I got something from Alterna and two more somethings from Bumble and Bumble. Other than the Hair Care Sample Pack there was an Alterna Gift With Purchase and Bumble and Bumble Gift With Purchase which included deluxe samples from each brand! Yaaay!
I also got some more Bar Soaps and Candles to qualify for the Fragrance Sample Pack (dis). I was actually interested in purchasing Mojave Ghost from Byredo and Philosykos from Diptyque as Perfumes, but it was way too hot to risk (the heat might alter the contents and therefore the scent). So, I got them as Bar Soaps instead. Plus, this way, I could “test” the scents first, rather than buying them as Perfumes and possibly ending up hating them.
The Makeup stuff was from Benefit and I only got them because I really, really had my heart set on the Benefit Gift With Purchase that came with a very, very cute Benefit Clear Tote Bag and some samples. Also, it helped bump up the total of my order so I could qualify for the latest Sample Pack (dis).
