From my 2nd U.S. Bath & Body Works Haul (here)
Jar Candles were reduced from $14.50 (KD 4/400) to $8 (KD 2/400) each
According to the reviews, Jar Candles packed quite a punch and could scent up a spacious room within minutes! I was a bit skeptical, but decided to see for myself, especially since these babies were on sale.
You guys, the reviews were not wrong! For whatever reason, these little things were far superior to their much larger counterparts! I mean, I haven’t actually burned any of them yet, but even on cold throw, some of these were straight up beast-mode!
While browsing through the New Arrivals section up on Nordstrom, I spotted an exciting new version of my beloved Light Blue called Light Blue Sun. It listed Coconut Water (which I adore in most forms) in the fragrance notes! I mean…c’mon, Light Blue + Coconut Water just sounded awesome! So, despite my luck (or lack-thereof) with purchasing perfumes before actually smelling them, this was yet another blind-buy lol Since I was going to have to pay extortionate shipping fees regardless, I figured I might as well purchase a few more items, to even out the shipping cost (I mathed).
I picked up something from the Too Faced collab with Erika Jayne and to qualify for the Too Faced Gift with Purchase also purchased a Too Faced Mascara (travel size). Lastly, since I’d actually sampled Mon Paris earlier (here) and over time, grew to enjoy the scent, I sprung for the YSL Mon Paris Eau de Parfum Set (3oz/90mL + 1oz/30mL).
Since the total for everything was more than $100 I ended up qualifying for both the April Skincare Sample Pack (here) and April Fragrance Sample Pack (here) and the April Bonus Gift (here) and got to pick out 3 samples for free.

– Too Faced x Erika Jayne Pat The Pu$$ Kissable Body Shimmer (Limited Edition)
– Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (travel size)
– Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Eau de Parfum Set
I was really happy with my previous haulage from Nordstrom (here) so when I noticed that they were having another really cool promo, I decided to place another order. Plus, it was mah birthday (not that I needed an excuse to shop, since we’ve already established that I’m clearly a shopaholic). Basically, the promo was if you spent $135 (around KD 40) on Fragrances (including Eau de Toilettes and Eau de Perfumes and even Scented Candles), you qualified for the Gift With Purchase, which happened to be a pack of Fragrance Samples (haulage here)! As you can see, the items arrived individually wrapped in packing paper, in a rather large (practically empty) cardboard box also stuffed with packing paper. It’s not pretty, but hey, it works (everything arrived safely and undamaged)!

Like I said in my earlier post (here), I went back to Sephora the very next day, to exchange the unsealed Tony Moly Mini Green Apple Lip Balm for a sealed one. Plus, I thought I’d get to pick up the “Brand Gift” that I’d qualified for (accumulating a little over 200 points) only a day before. No such luck. Even the Sephora App didn’t reflect my progress (it still showed that I needed to accumulate 15 points to reach the 200 point mark).
The dude at the check-out counter (same guy from the day before) informed that I need to wait for at least 72 hours (why didn’t he just say that the day before?) for the Sephora App to get updated to reflect my current progress. He also said I needed to wait for either an SMS Message or an E-mail from Sephora (UAE), before being able to actually pick out the “Brand Gift“. He also threw in a few more samples of the Kat Von D Trooper Tattoo Liner (x3) and another Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (in yet another random shade), I suspect in his efforts to appease me (read: so I could hopefully go away and leave him alone lol) at least that’s what I believe.

Same day, different receipt. I picked up a bunch other stuff at Bath & Body Works, besides those Henri Bendel Signature Candles (hauled here). Like I said, I’ve pretty much been avoiding the place (Bath & Body Works), meaning I hadn’t been keeping up with all the new releases. Meanwhile, they (Bath & Body Works) had come out with a whole slew of new products! Ultra Conditioning Bath & Shower Jelly and Really Refreshing All-Over Mist and Seriously Soft Body Lotion and Really Refreshing Foaming Scrub and Clay Body Scrub, to name a few. Most of those were from the CocoaShea Collection (featuring Coco Butter and Shea Butter, obviously). Other products from the CocoaShea Collection included Richly Nourishing Lightweight Body Oil and Really Refreshing Aloe Gel Lotion and Richly Nourishing Whipped Body Butter and Incredibly Creamy Body Wash. The CocoaShea Collection was available in 3 delicious scents; Cucumber, and Honey, and Coconut. Each scent had it’s own packaging, depicting either Cucumber Slices for the Cucumber range, a Honeycomb for the Honey range, and Coconuts for the Coconut range. Naturally, I had to pick up a few things to try out from the CocoaShea Collection, especially with those names (over-saturated with adverbs). I mean, it’s pretty much how I describe most products (really refreshing, seriously soft, etc…). I also picked up a Clay Body Scrub (different collection) and yet another Scented Candle (because the previous 6 Scented Candles clearly weren’t enough). Luckily, there was a Buy 3 Get 3 Free Deal, going on at the time.
I’ve already tried everything out (back home), and can honestly say that I’m obsessed with every single item in this haul! They all performed pretty well (did what they claimed to do) and most of them smelled ridiculously good while doing it!
I was at Sultan Center and thiiiis close to buying either a L’Oreal or Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (just to see why people are still going crazy over Micellar Water) but changed my mind at the last second and picked up this Cleansing Milk instead. I know for a fact that Micellar Water does nothing for me, so why waste any more money on it? My Holy Grail will always be Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Makeup Remover (reviewed here). However, it’s good to have a few makeup removers that perform similarly, just in case for whatever reason the entire country runs out of stock (which is what happened here and here).
