Maître Gims – Je Te Pardonne ft. Sia

Now that all the shows I watch regularly are winding down for the season, the lack of Game of Thrones this year is really starting to hit me (I’m going through Game of Thrones withdrawal lawl).

Thankfully, I’ve got Fear The Walking Dead, and The Handmaid’s Tale, and for something a little lighter The 100, to tide me over. Also, I believe the new season of Big Brother (UK) is coming up, in about a week or so. Apparently, I’d completely erased the season 1 finale of Westworld from my mind, because I watched the first episode of season 2 when it first came out and literally had no clue what was going on (which has been a recurring theme for me while watching Westworld) so I’m gonna wait for a few episodes to pile up (if not the entire season) so I can just binge-watch the whole thing. For the record, I don’t do Arabic Dramas (not now, not ever). Now is the perfect time to switch over to binging on Korean Shows and some Anime!

In any case, a couple of months ago, I stumbled upon this music video that someone made by splicing Game of Thrones scenes (namely the Battle of Bastards episodes) and adding the song Je Te Pardonne (I forgive you) by Maitre Gims (french dude) featuring Sia to accompany the whole thing. Normally, I find it pretty cheezy when people do that (combine songs with scenes from their favorite anime or movie or tv show or whatever) but in this instance, I quite like it (odd choice of song however, especially if you speak french, but if you completely disregard the lyrics, or like myself, do not speak french, then it kinda’ works)! Obviously, it’s not the original music video, but I actually prefer it to the original. If you’re interested, I’ve included the original version below. As per usual, Sia‘s voice is amaze!

Have a lovely weekend!

TV Shows 2016

Nothing particularly stood out to me, movie-wise. I get more excited about tv shows, honestly. With that being said, The Walking Dead is still my favorite tv show, ever, obviously. Stranger Things and The OA were both equally excellent with The OA slightly edging out Stranger Things as my favorite of the two but it struck me as quite odd as to how similar they both seemed to each other.

Westworld bored me to tears (up till episode 6 which I feel like is when it picked up).

I grew up watching Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien but Conan quickly became my favorite of the two and I haven’t stopped watching his shows since. Conan is simply a delightful human being! Honestly, I love the guy! I don’t watch any other talk shows because I just never really got into Ellen and I can’t stand the two Jimmy’s (Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel).
