As I mentioned earlier (dis) Bath & Body Works were having a “Buy 2, Get 3 Free” promo going on, at the beginning of August.
Between the “Buy 3, Get 3 Free” promo over at Boots (dis) and the “Buy 2, Get 3 Free” promo over at B&BW, I wasn’t sure what was going on (is this even Kuwait?), but I strongly approved! Since I’d just recently decluttered my bathroom (dis), I figured I had room for some new clutter (logic!)
Bath and Body Works Empties Part 1 – here
Bath and Body Works Empties Part 2 (several years later) is a going to be a really, really long post. I was actually making decent progress finishing up my Bath&Body Works products, until I started branching out into other brands. I’m finally done with these Body Scrubs and Shower Gels and Liquid Hand Soaps. I’m pretty sure that Bath & Body Works just make stuff up in the fragrance notes (lol), but I’ll be listing the notes anyway and linking each item to the post where I hauled them. As always, just click on the photos to enlarge.
– French Lavender & Honey Body Scrub
– Endless Weekend Sunset Body Scrub
– Agave Papaya Sunset Sugarcane Scrub
– Pink Cashmere Foaming Sugar Scrub
– At The Beach Sand & Sea Salt Scrub
Starting with the Body Scrubs, not all of them are completely empty, but I’ve come to the realization that I just don’t like these oily Body Scrubs.
Since I was at the Avenues Phase III anyway (H&M x The Weeknd), I figured I’d check out the Bath & Body Works on that side too. According to the Privileges App, B&BW were having this offer where you could purchase three items (Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Fine Fragrance Mist) for the price of two. Once again, in typical Bath & Body Works fashion, the offer was only applicable on select items (none of the newer collections), and would only last for the weekend. I didn’t want nor need anything, but since I rarely visit the Phase III branch, I figured I’d take a quick peek since I was there.
They were stocking the shelves at Bath & Body Works (Marina Mall) with two new(er) collections so I decided to pop in for a quick look and ended up with two bags worth… as per usual. I was actually on the lookout for the Tutti Dolce Collection but apparently that’s too much to ask for. The two new(er) collections that we did have were released world-wide sometime in 2016, while we were only just getting them (in Kuwait) in the middle of February 2017. As always, they had a “Buy Two Get One Free” deal. Sadly, they don’t let you combine products from other collections, which I think is silly because not everyone is crazy as I am and willing to experiment with full-sized, all-new products, at a time. Even I would like to combine my tried and true favorites with some of the newer stuff and qualify for that deal, rather than having to purchase three newer products and three older products from their signature collection. Granted, I’m actually purchasing four products and getting the two for free but still, that’s a total of six too many, as opposed to a more reasonable total of three products. I could just purchase one product be done with it but truth be told, Bath & Body Works products are over-priced (which is painfully obvious during their Big Sale) so even though I’m technically spending more money, if I get a deal on them, it tricks my brain into thinking I’m saving more money in the long run… Does that make sense?
These are a the products that came in the gift sets I had received and posted about earlier (here).
