I was at Boots (Marina Mall) when I picked up this Shampoo and Conditioner Duo. I believe they were also available in Fresh & Fruity Strawberry, Fresh & Nutty Coconut, but not the Fresh & Tingly Mint & Tea Tree. Regardless, I was only interested in the Fresh & Crisp Apple. You could buy them separately (only the Shampoo or only the Conditioner) or mix and match (for example; Apple Shampoo and Coconut Conditioner) or just do what I did and get a matching pair (Apple Shampoo and Apple Conditioner).
Invigorating Sicilian cedar melds with the crisp vibrancy of apple and the guileless charm of the bluebell, to evoke the essence of a South Italian summer.
The freshness of bamboo nestles amid a glorious feminine bouquet of decadent jasmine and delicate white rose.
Redolent citron wood is entwined with voluptuous amber and a suggestive caress of musk.
Summer just isn’t summer without my beloved Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue! I’d run out of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette (reviewed here) so I picked up a new one, at Harvey Nichols. As a gift with purchase (gwp) I was also given a rather large Messenger Bag that had 007 embossed on it and a deluxe sample of Hugo Boss Red Shower Gel (pretty sure it’s for men but that’s ok because as long as they’re either woods-y or oceanic, I tend to enjoy certain masculine scents). The Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Body Scrub Gel was purchased at Mishref Fair Grounds during the Perfume & Makeup Exhibition.
I was at Ikea paying for my stuff at the cash register when I decided to check out their little grocery store (it was in my direct line of vision and I was parched). For whatever reason, I’ve never ever stopped there before until that day. I was delighted by the fact that they had several different variations of Apple Juice that were packaged in what appeared to be beer-bottles. They had Apple & Raspberry, Apple & Strawberry, and regular Apple Juice. Being apple-obsessed as I am, I bought one of each for myself to try out, and another one of each to take back home for whoever else was willing to give them a try. Apple & Raspberry was vile! Come to find out (I’d missed it on the tiny graphic) that it included a shot of mint (ugh!). Tricksy little hobbitses. Everything seemed legit at first but the aftertaste (mint) was horrible, for me at least. The regular Apple tasted nice but wasn’t anything special. The Apple & Strawberry however was everything! I’ve been purchasing Apple & Strawberry in bulk ever since, well, only when I happen to be at Ikea.
I was on a much-needed vacation abroad, traipsing through the cutesy souvenir shops nestled amongst darling little cafes on cobblestoned streets, when my nose detected a ridiculously yummy scent! I broke away from my friends and immediately followed my nose which led me to Beauty Bar. As soon as I set foot in-store, I was hit with an explosion of mouth-watering scents! They sold all kinds of beautifully-scented body and bath products including stuff from Bomb Cosmetics. It was the perfect place to buy gifts for my family and friends. I’ve never tried Bomb Cosmetics before but if I had to liken them to anything, I’d say Bomb Cosmetics was a mash-up of Lush products with Bath & Body Works scents. Bomb Cosmetics products are hand-made from natural ingredients, vegan-friendly, and they don’t test on animals. I wasn’t in the UK but apparently Bomb Cosmetics is a UK-based brand that supplies several European countries with their extremely affordable products. When my friends eventually caught up to me, we all ended up purchasing stuff from Bomb Cosmetics for our friends and family back home. Obviously, I’ve already given the gifts to the people they were intended for but I also picked up a handful of stuff for myself, as you can see.
Normally, I prefer my lipbalms to be scented, flavored, and have nice packaging. I’ve never really been into ChapStick because the only one readily available in Kuwait was the boring old regular one (Classic). It goes without saying that I never tried it because I was never even tempted to. Even when Katy Perry mentioned it in her song, all I thought was “ewww… cherry” (can’t stand the scent and taste of artificial cherry). When drugstore.com started selling ChapStick Green Apple, I was ecstatic! I quickly added it to the rest of the items in my shopping cart and placed my online order. I loved it so much that I’ve been repurchasing it (in bulk) every time I place an order on drugstore.com/beauty.com ever since, but unfortunately that’s no longer an option because drugstore.com and beauty.com closed down (read all about it – here).
Even though it generally doesn’t agree with my body, I absolutely love Apple drinks! For reference, the smaller apple drink is 200ml and the larger one is 300ml.
