ELF (Eyes Lips Face) were having a 20% off $20 and 30% off $30 and 40% off $40 and 50% off $50 promo going on (the promo excluded the newest of new releases though), towards the end of November and start of December. I jumped on that deal and ordered a few things that based on my previous experience, probably wouldn’t survive shipping during the Summer (it can get up to 50 Celsius/131 Fahrenheit over here).
Despite being billed for them and also redeeming my “Beauty Points” (part of ELF’s loyalty program) several items were missing from my order. I didn’t bother contacting ELF though, because even if they did ship the missing items separately, the shipping itself would cost more than the actual items. It just wasn’t cost effective.
Regardless, I managed to get my hands on some things that I’ve been meaning to purchase for a good long while now, but was holding back because of the price. I got some Skincare and Foundation (in several shades), Brow Stuff (in several shades), a few Lip Things and even fewer Makeup Brushes and a ton of Blushes and Bronzers and Highlights all for half price! The total was $132 which is slightly more than I would’ve preferred to have spent, but I also feel like I saved more in the long run (logic)! I kinda’ went crazy (which is usually the case when ELF knocks their prices down to half off), but 50% off was just too good to pass up!
I was literally bouncing in place with excitement when I first spotted the water-based Aqua Réotier Collection! This collection (the one I hinted at, towards the very end of my previous L’Occitane Samplage post) was the whole reason I was practically stalking L’Occitane every other day! The Aqua Reotier Collection had finally arrived to Kuwait (and it only took about… a year since it was released worldwide lol)!
I had an entire post featuring everything found in the collection, including lots of photos of the absolutely stunning display (here)! During that same visit, I actually purchased the Aqua Reotier Discovery Set (yellow box) which came with a handful of deluxe sample size products and was given even more samples (everything else surrounding the yellow box) by the accommodating sales assistant! You won’t believe how much the Aqua Reotier Discovery Set (travel size) cost!
On Halloween, I found myself at Sultan Center (Souq Sharq) with a few friends, because we needed stuff… for stuff, y’know?
For centuries, a natural water spring has been running at the heart of the Provence mountains, collecting rich minerals and rising up at the Réotier Spring. Thanks to its high calcium content, this incredible water helps skin maintain its hydration barrier and retain moisture. L’Occitane has paired this powerful Provence water with Hyaluronic Acid in an ultra-hydrating skin care range, for healthy-looking skin.
Discover our NEW thirst-quenching, water-based Aqua Réotier Collection, uniquely formulated with 3 powerful ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, and calcium-rich Réotier Spring Water derived from the mountains of Provence.

Let’s just get this out of the way first. How pretty is the packaging and the presentation (I mean, that ring of water is absolutely stunning)! Everything is all blue and transparent and just very, very pleasant to look at! And don’t even get me started on those micro-bubbles (so cute, I die!) in some of the products! Okay, now that that’s out of the way…
I like how they went from asking me to flat-out stop taking pictures (here and here) to now offering to hold up the products for me while I take the picture LOL I spotted some of the New Collections (new to Kuwait, rather) and a new Hair Care Brand called Briogeo, some fun Asian Skincare and more than a few absolutely stunning Palettes! With that being said, now that I’m getting older, I find myself… dare I say it… kinda’ losing interest in makeup (I’m 33). Not a lot seems to wow me anymore. I’ve also noticed the same thing happening with my choice of fragrance (I’m starting to turn away from all things candy and find a lot of my once-beloved gourmands straight up annoying now). If I ever fall out of love with videogames though, I’d be completely devastated (might as well not live anymore, after that! lawl). Thankfully, that hasn’t happened… yet.
