Bath and Body Works Haulage (Nov 2020) Part 2

On November 22, 2020 a whole bunch of stuff popped up on sale, on the local Bath & Body Works site.

Aside from the travel-size fragrance mists and the aromatherapy range, the rest of the scents were repeats (scents that I’d enjoyed before and now loved)!

Can you believe I got all of this stuff for only KD 40 ?

Fragrance Mists were reduced from KD 7 to KD 2/750 each

Snowy Citrus Swirl

Christmas smells like a merry & bright twist of chilled tangerine, whipped marshmallow, creamy tonka bean & fresh vanilla

Oh, snow delightful! This cream orange gift is a Christmas dream come true!

This baby was from the Holiday 2019 Collection and I picked it up during that time, directly from the U.S. website as a Shower Gel (here) and as a Body Lotion (here).

When it finally popped up on the Kuwait website (a full year later), I picked up another Shower Gel (here) and now a Fragrance Mist.

The packaging is bright, fun and cheerful, and matches the orange creamsicle scent perfectly! As for the scent, it’s a mouthwatering combination of citrus and sweetness!

Basically, Snowy Citrus Swirl is joy in a bottle!

Little Black Party Dress

Flirty & fabulous at the stroke of midnight.

Christmas smells like a party-perfect floral blend of frosted nectarine, black peony & white patchouli

So. Much. Yes.

This baby was also from another one of the many Holiday 2019 Collections and I picked it up during that time, directly from the U.S. website as a Shower Gel (here) and loved it enough to repurchase a back-up immediately (here)!

As soon as Little Black Party Dress popped up on our local site (and on sale too) I snatched up two more Shower Gels (below) and a Body Lotion (below) and a Fragrance Mist (as shown)!

The packaging was kinda’ similar on each form, in the sense that they all shared those technicolor glitter bubbles (no idea what to call them so we’ll just go with that). However, the bubbles on the Fragrance Mist were also 3D (textured), which was a nice touch!

I guess the bubbles are meant to represent champagne bubbles on New Year’s Eve or maybe tinsel? I dunno’. In any case, I find the packaging (all silvery and glittery and grey) aesthetically appealing!

As for the scent, I noticed that it did differ slightly, from form to form. The Shower Gel definitely smelled more grape-y and oud-y, while the Fragrance Mist smelled more nectarine-y and floral-y.

Personally, I find Little Black Party Dress to be quite sexy! It doesn’t smell like it’s from Bath & Body Works (no offense lol). It actually smells more like a high-end perfume! It smells… expensive!

In fact, I’d even say Little Black Party Dress is in the same family as Midnight Peony (haulage here)!

Cactus Blossom

Bright. Floral. Sweet. With notes of bright cactus petals blended with sun-kissed coconut & vanilla.

Not gonna’ lie, when I first got Cactus Blossom in the form of a Shower Gel and Body Scrub and Aloe Lotion (here), I was a bit disappointed by the scent, because it was so light!

With use (during the lockdown), I grew to love the scent on Cactus Blossom, particularly the Body Scrub and more than once, found myself wishing I had it in the form of a Perfume or Fragrance Mist! It was a beautiful sweet floral!

So imagine my delight when I saw this baby was up for grabs! I could not purchase it fast enough! The packaging was whatever but the scent was everything!

I’d purchased the Fragrance Mist early on in the Summer (Quarantine 2020 Haul) and was obsessed with the scent enough to purchase a second one in this haul! Wearing it makes me feel so feminine and girly!

I wear this on myself for myself, but as an added bonus, I always get a ton of compliments whenever I have this on! It’s definitely a people-pleaser! Highly recommend!

Twilight Woods

The warmth & mystery of an enchanted forest. Soft glowing light shining through the trees. Nothing stirs the soul like a stroll through Twilight Woods!

An enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals & Tuscan cypress

A classic! A beauty! A favorite! A must-have!

Arguably one of the best scents that Bath & Body Works make! So, of course it got discontinued.

They’ll mess with the scent, tweak it a little bit, update the packaging and bring it back, from time to time though.

In fact, I’ve seen Twilight Woods go through several updates, from the original comforting brown packaging, to the downright ugly purple ombre and now this navy blue and gold version. It’s not my favorite, but I suppose it does look nice or at least much nicer than that ugly purple version lol

I bought the latest travel-size version during the 2019 Holiday Season (haulage here) to see if it was still up to par.

Once it popped up on our local site (only an entire year later), I picked it up as a Shower Gel (haulage here) one for myself and one for a friend.

In this haul, I snatched it up as full-size Fragrance Mist (as shown) and travel-size Fragrance Mist (shown below) and full size Body Lotion (shown below) and travel-size Body Lotion (shown below) and a Mini Perfume Spray (shown below).

It goes without saying but I absolutely love Twilight Woods! It’s damn near addictive! I actually miss it and crave it whenever I don’t have it!

Ignore the fragrance notes. Twilight Woods is a delicious warm and cozy scent, backed by addictive woodsy notes! Unlike the other scents (mentioned above) which lean more feminine, Twilight Woods is definitely unisex and can be enjoyed by both guys and girls!

Aromatherapy Body Wash and Foam Bath were reduced from KD 5/500 to KD 2/750 each

I saw these babies pop up on the U.S. site during the first wave of the pandemic, but couldn’t muster up the energy nor care to order them, because of my health issues at the time (heart palpitations).

I didn’t think they’d make the jump to Kuwait so I couldn’t believe my luck, when they popped up on our local site towards the end of the year! The names alone had my imagination running wild!

I mean, doesn’t Hot Springs Spa and Zen Garden just sound amazing?

I couldn’t decide between them and since they were on sale, I went ahead and just got all of them.

Initially, I was a bit disappointed by the scent on most of them, except for Stargazing Meditation, but with use, the other two grew on me.

Sunrise Yoga, I disliked from the start and still dislike it.

Hot Springs Spa

Made with eucalyptus oil, lemon oil and cedarwood oil to inspire a calm and clear mind.

Aromatherapy Tip: Transport yourself to a soothing hot springs spa with this blend featuring natural essential oils.

Breathe deeply for best results.

Initially, I was expecting to smell something similar to the scent of steam coming off hot rocks, obviously due to the name.

Once I got over the initial disappointment, with use, the scent of Hot Springs Spa quickly grew on me!

Cedarwood and lemon make a lovely pairing in any form (for example, perfumes), but when coupled with the eucalyptus, the overall effect is genuinely soothing!

It’s quite nice and light and perfect for relaxing!

Hot Springs Spa is my second favorite out of all four!

Stargazing Meditation

Made with bergamot oil, patchouli oil and vetiver oil to inspire mindfulness and relaxation

Aromatherapy Tip: Transport yourself to the gentle night sky for stargazing meditation with this blend featuring natural essential oils.

Breathe deeply for best results.

I have a love/love relationship with bergamot (we’ve been obsessed with each other for years now)!

As such, it was obviously love at first sniff with Stargazing Meditation!

The bergamot makes it smell uplifting and delicious (like skittles) and the patchouli makes it smell sexy, while the vetiver makes it smell manly!

Stargazing Meditation is my most favorite out of all four!

Sunrise Yoga

Made with mandarin oil, spearmint oil and juniper berry oil to inspire balance and vitality.

Aromatherapy Tip: Transport yourself to a revitalizing sunrise yoga session with this blend featuring natural essential oils.

Breathe deeply for best results.

Yuck! The mandarin and spearmint are alright, but mixed with the juniper berry, no siree!

Those three just do not mix well together. In fact, abominations like this are exactly why I tend to avoid the Aromatherapy range most of the time. They just mix the weirdest things together lol

Out of all of them, Sunrise Yoga is the only one I dislike (never really grew on me).

Zen Garden

Made with mimosa absolute, pink pepper extract and ylang ylang oil to inspire peace and reflection.

Aromatherapy Tip: Transport yourself to a tranquil zen garden with this blend featuring natural essential oils.

Breathe deeply for best results.

Initially, I disliked the scent because I was expecting… I dunno’ what I was expecting, but it was not this.

However, with use, the scent on Zen Garden grew on me, mostly because of the ylang ylang, which I simply adore!

The pink pepper can get a bit obnoxious and the mimosa adds an unnecessary sweetness, but I can put up with all that, because of the lovely ylang ylang!

Zen Garden was neither a favorite nor a dislike.

Shower Gels were reduced from KD 5/500 to KD 2/750

Little Black Party Dress

Flirty & fabulous at the stroke of midnight.

Christmas smells like a party-perfect floral blend of frosted nectarine, black peony & white patchouli

Like I said, I picked up two Shower Gels (one here and one here) when it first released in the Holiday 2019 Collection.

As soon as it was available for purchase locally, I picked two more Shower Gels (as shown).

Little Black Party Dress was my most favorite scent released out of all the many Holiday 2019 Collections!

It had a cute name (Little Black Party Dress! I die!) and aesthetically appealing packaging (the translucent grey liquid was pretty unique) and a beatiful scent (that actually lasted on my skin, post-shower)! What’s not to love?

Ignore the fragrance notes. To my nose, Little Black Party Dress smelled like delicious red/purple grapes and Oud! It was practically intoxicating and just so, so, sooo sexy!

Body Lotions were reduced from KD 5/500 to KD 2/750

Twilight Woods

The warmth & mystery of an enchanted forest. Soft glowing light shining through the trees. Nothing stirs the soul like a stroll through Twilight Woods!

An enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals & Tuscan cypress

Little Black Party Dress

Flirty & fabulous at the stroke of midnight.

Christmas smells like a party-perfect floral blend of frosted nectarine, black peony & white patchouli

Typically, the packaging on the Body Lotions is the most boring out of all forms. Even the Body Creams have much prettier packaging.

As such, I was pretty stoked to see that more of an effort had been made with the packaging on the Twilight Woods Body Lotion!

As for the scent, I’d purchased Twilight Woods and Little Black Party Dress as Shower Gels and Fragrance Mists (shown above) and all that was left were the Body Lotions (for layering). Superb scents!

Mini Perfume Sprays were reduced from KD 4/500 to KD 1/250
Travel Size Body Lotion was reduced from KD 2/750 to KD 1/250

Twilight Woods

The warmth & mystery of an enchanted forest. Soft glowing light shining through the trees. Nothing stirs the soul like a stroll through Twilight Woods!

An enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals & Tuscan cypress

I figured I’d get these cute lil minis for my handbag (for on-the-go touch-ups).

Travel Size Fragrance Mists were reduced from KD 3/250 to KD 1/250

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, getting the Travel Size is the best way to experiment with a new scent!

You can figure out if you like the scent or not (with use), before committing to the fuller size.

Twilight Woods

The warmth & mystery of an enchanted forest. Soft glowing light shining through the trees. Nothing stirs the soul like a stroll through Twilight Woods!

An enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals & Tuscan cypress

I already know I love Twilight Woods!

I got this baby to stash in my car (only during Winter), just to have something ready to spritz when on-the-go.

Golden Sunflower

A radiant blend of sunflower petals, orange flower and fresh vanilla

The name put me right off (I don’t do florals), but since it was on sale, I figured why not?

Wouldn’t you know it? Golden Sunflower smelled delightful!

At first, I couldn’t quite place the scent. All I knew is that it just strongly reminded me of summer vacations abroad during my childhood!

With use, I narrowed down the scent. Golden Sunflower legit smelled like lotion-y sunscreen!

I’m definitely getting the full bottle at some point, purely for the nostalgia!

Sunset Glow

Captivating like a beautiful sunset. Addictive like a sugar rush. This is the sweet treat you’ve been craving.

Inspired by warm summer nights and delicious confections, Sunset Glow is free-spirited perfection from sunrise to sunset.

A glowing blend of sparkling cherry seltzer, coconut & moonflower

Typically, I don’t do cherry. It just comes across as medicinal and off-putting to my nose.

However, I took a chance on the Shower Gel (haulage here) and loved it!

The cherry on this thing was quite sweet (just the way I like it)! In fact, I found it so nice and calming that I reserved it specifically for night-time showers (before bed)!

Sunset Glow is nowhere near as gorgeous as Lavender Clouds (hauled here), but it’s definitely a runner up.

I didn’t expect much from Sunset Glow, but was pleasantly surprised by the scent! That’s why I decided to give it a shot as a Fragrance Mist.

My God it smelled so yummy! I could almost swear I could detect a bakery note in there. It even smelled great on my clothes (I could smell it the next day)!

Definitely worth a repurchase in the full size!

PocketBacs were reduced from KD 1/250 to KD 0/750

Fiji White Sands

White Sands + Vanilla Orchid + Warm Amber

I’d picked this up early on in the pandemic (First Quarantine Haul) as a Deep Cleansing Hand Soap.

The scent itself was everything I’d hoped for and more! It was a wonderfully warm sweet scent that was perfectly beachy! Definitely something I’d repurchase in other forms (preferably a Shower Gel, if available).

Once it went on sale, I figured I’d pick it up as a PocketBac to pop into my Owl Pom (haulage here) to take with me on-the-go.

Can you tell that I’m obsessed?

I wish Bath & Body Works would just make this version permanent already and just stop taking it away. Such a great scent!
