Debenhams Haul (Sept 2020)

On September 22 2020, I wanted to go to Sultan Center. I figured since I was heading to Souq Sharq anyway, I might as well hit up the mall first.

Starting from all the way to the right of the mall, I took a quick lap around Debenhams (even though I’ve sworn against it, on account of the vultures) and ended up getting a few things.

Etude House Sheet Masks

I was surprised to see that they’d added an Etude House counter, over at the makeup department.

My health still wasn’t up to par so I wasn’t as interested in makeup again, just yet. Although there wasn’t much of a selection available, I focused my attention on their Sheet Masks.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Deep Sheet Mask

This was the last piece available from this particular range.

I figured since they were almost sold out, it must be pretty good and snagged the very last one for myself.

Etude House Hyaluronic Acid 0.2 Therapy Air Mask

There are 12 different ones online (on the official site) ranging from Snail to Strawberry lol Sadly, only Hyaluronic Acid was available at the counter though.

Basically, these 0.2 Sheet Masks are supposed to be super thin, as opposed to the more thicker ones from other brands.

They also had some sort of deal going on at the time, so I picked up x5 for a total of KD 2 planning to share them with Mera. I figured we’d pop on the Sheet Masks while watching RuPaul’s Drag Race or whatever (since she was coming over almost daily, at the time).

Bourjois Liner Stylo 61 Ultra Black Eye Liner – KD 3/900
Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof 41 Black Party Pencil Liner – KD 3/900

While I wasn’t interested in any new, fun makeup, I was running low on Eye Liner, which was a necessity lol

The Contour Clubbing Pencil Liners come in several colors (10 different ones), but the shade 41 Black Party which is described as a deep black with a matte finish (goes on black but fades to a bluish-grey on me) is my favorite!

They do have a deeper black called 54 Ultra Black and is described as a deep ultra black with a matte finish (purchased earlier here), if you’re interested, but I personally prefer Black Party over Ultra Black.

I won’t go over it too much because I’ve already written up an entire post solely dedicated to Black Party (here) and I’m constantly repurchasing it (here).

I always have a hard time finding it in Kuwait (out of stock) and this was no exception. They only had the one, which I quickly snatched up.

In anticipation of my one and only last piece of Contour Clubbing Pencil Liner running out quickly, I decided to grab another Eye Liner from Bourjois called the Liner Stylo (which was new to me) in the shade 61 Ultra Black.

Unlike the other one (Contour Clubbing) which was a pencil, this one (Liner Stylo) was more of a crayon and therefore had a slightly more waxy consistency. It was also retractable (went both up and down, thankfully) and had a built-in sharpener.

As far as I know, Liner Stylo is available in Brown and Black and Ultra Black (as shown). At first, I was a bit disappointed with it (couldn’t use it for what I had in mind), but over time I grew to like it (found a different use for it).

If you’re looking for precision, then the Liner Stylo isn’t for you. However, if you enjoy smoking out your liner or lining your waterline, then give this a try.

I wasn’t really expecting anything but when I asked for a gift with purchase (doesn’t hurt to ask) at the checkout counter, they handed me this Brown Leather Backpack.

Although it wasn’t as exciting as my usual hauls, it felt so fun shopping at the mall again, like a normal person!
