My Hair Before and After (BaByliss Sensitive Curling Iron C625SDE)

Before + After

On July 11 (2020), I decided to try out my newest Curling Iron (BaByliss Sensitive Curling Iron C625SDE).

Typically, I’d wrap my hair in a towel and wait for at least an hour before blow drying it. However, this time, I just hopped out of the shower, toweled up, got dressed and started drying it right away, using my trusty National Hair Styler (reviewed here). As a result, my hair ended up being a bit flat at the roots.

I’m telling you, that one hour wait makes all the difference because usually my hair would have way more volume.

In any case, I only dried it (as opposed to taking the time to meticulously straighten it), because I didn’t want to subject my hair to more heat than was necessary. That’s why the ends were looking extra fluffy (not a good look).

Also, since I’d cut layers in my hair earlier (here), it had gotten harder to make the ends of my hair completely poker straight anyway.

The BaByliss Sensitive Curling Iron C625SDE took some getting used to, on account of the shorter clamp and it definitely wasn’t my best work (like I said, I was testing it out for the first time), but I really liked the end result!

In the future, I’d learn to take smaller sections for sleeker curls, work some serum through my hair, then comb the curls out to open them up and make them a bit looser.

Still, for the first use ever, this baby left me sufficiently impressed!
