Hand Soaps were reduced from KD 3/250 to KD 1/250 except for Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps which were reduced to KD 1

I love Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps but they don’t seem to be making them anymore at Bath & Body Works… or at least not as much. I’ll only spot them randomly from sale to sale and even then, it’s never a sure thing.

When I visited their online site and saw that “The Big Event” (month-long sale) had begun, I was happy to say that they had not one but two different Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps! One was Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap and the other was Aquamarine Shores Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (previously purchased here).

Naturally, I wanted to stock up but it was late and I was tired. I figured I’d get to it the next day. I added the maximum amount of Aquamarine Shores Deep Cleansing Hand Soap to my online cart and signed out. About 4 hours later (the typical amount of sleep I get), I went back online to find out that Aquamarine Shores Deep Cleansing Hand Soap was out of stock… already! I was devastated! I cannot even begin to explain to you how much joy using that stuff had brought me this past summer.

I figured I might as well get the only other available Deep Cleansing Hand Soap, which was Island Papaya. I didn’t want to get more than one, in case I didn’t enjoy the scent. After much deliberation, I decided to pop in to a physical store of Bath&Body Works to give Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap a sniff. Turns out, they didn’t have it in that particular branch and I ended up ordering just the one, online.

While I was at the store and playing around with the PocketBacs (I had a long list of scents I wanted to try), I stumbled upon Summer Tiramisu PocketBac which was a gorgeous coffee scent! All the other PocketBacs sorta’ faded into the background after that. I hurriedly snatched up x4 Summer Tiramisu PocketBacs. Then, I noticed both Summer Tiramisu Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps and Summer Tiramisu Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps! I grabbed x4 of each as well (unsniffed)! Lastly, on my way out of the store, I grabbed x2 Bergamot Waters Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps.

The rest of the Hand Soaps were purchased online, after I’d gotten back home. I figured I might as well get a selection of Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps that I’d been eyeing while they were still on sale, so that the next time they went on sale, I’d know which ones to stock up on. I also got a few more Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps from the latest collection because based on the notes they seemed like they’d smell nice and they looked pretty!

Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap

A whisk-you-off-to-the-tropics mix of tropical coconut, fresh papaya & sugarcane

Based on the packaging, Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap seemed to be from the same collection as Sun-Washed Citrus Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (previously purchased here) and Honolulu Sun Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (previously purchased here) and Aquamarine Shores Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (previously purchased here).

As soon as my online order from Bath&Body Works arrived, before taking photos or anything, I unscrewed the cap (so the dispenser would remain un-popped up for the photos to be linear because I’m neurotic like that) and used a little bit of Island Papaya in the bathroom, to see if it was worth placing another order to stock up. It was not.

While the consistency of Deep Cleansing Hand Soaps can be straight up murda‘ on your hands, I just love the stuff! The peachy liquid looked cute! The ombre glacial watercolor whatever on the packaging looked pretty! Unfortunately, the scent did nothing for me. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it.

Summer Tiramisu Creamy Luxe Hand Soap

A rich, Italian treat of espresso bean, creamy vanilla & whipped sugar

I’m pretty sure this was from the new Mediterranean Market Collection (made with olive oil, appropriately enough). Like I said, after sniffing the PocketBac in the same scent, I was utterly smitten with the scent Summer Tiramisu and would’ve purchased it any and every form!

Other than PocketBacs though, I only found it as a Hand Soap. I couldn’t decided between the Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps and Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps but since they were all on sale, I got x4 of each!

The pink liquid is all iridescent-y and beautiful! I think those pink dots are meant to be umbrellas on twin sunbeds? The packaging is appropriately “Mediterranean-esque”, well, at least the border around the name of the scent.

Honestly, I just liked the contrast of the water depicted against the pink liquid house inside, while the rest of the depiction did nothing for me. That said, it’s the scent that counts and if it’s anything like the gloriously coffee-scented PocketBac, I can’t wait to use this baby once the weather cools!

Capri Ocean Breeze Creamy Luxe Soap

A cool, refreshing blend of marine waters, crisp cotton & ocean air

I’m pretty sure this was from the new Mediterranean Market Collection (made with olive oil, appropriately enough). I ordered this online… purely based on the notes. I tend to enjoy “freshies” especially in stifling heat and this seemed like yet another delightful “fresh” and uplifting scent.

The blue liquid is also iridescent and beautiful! The little boats dotting the water are pretty cute too! I can’t wait to start using Capri Ocean Breeze, once I’m done with the one I’m currently using!

Limoncello Creamy Luxe Hand Soap

An intoxicating blend of Sorrento lemons, sugared mint & fresh verbena

I’m pretty sure this was from the new Mediterranean Market Collection (made with olive oil, appropriately enough). My first introduction to Limoncello was from another Italian Collection many, many years ago called the Italian Piazza Collection (dis) where I got it in a ridiculously cute teeny tiny mini Candle!

More recently, well, last year, I purchased it as a Nourishing Hand Soap which I gave away (dis). Although I did give it away, I still got to use it once or twice and I thoroughly enjoyed the lemon candy scent!

The yellow liquid is also iridescent-y and beautiful but the picture depicted is the least pretty out of all of them, not nearly as pretty as the previous Limoncello either. I ordered this baby online purely for the scent though. I tend to enjoy most lemon-scented products in general. However, because Limoncello is nice and sweet, I’m gonna’ save this for when the weather cools.

Sunshine & Lemons Creamy Luxe Hand Soap

A citrusy blend of yuzu, grapefruit & sunrays

This was not from the Mediterranean Market Collection but like I said, I enjoy most lemon-scented products in general and this looked appealing. The liquid was equally iridescent-y and beautiful because that’s one of the traits of the Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps. I like that the liquid is almost champagne-y on Sunshine & Lemons to differentiate it from Limoncello. I also like that the packaging had lemon halves, which I thought was cute and cheerful!

Regardless of whether this baby turns out to be zesty and uplifting or tart and citrus-y or sweet like candy, I’m down for whatever! I think Sunshine & Lemons will be great either in the Kitchen (cliche, I know) or in my personal bathroom (most probably the latter).

Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps

Capri Ocean Breeze Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
Limoncello Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
Sunshine and Lemons Creamy Luxe Hand Soap

So these are all the beautifully iridescent Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps, mostly from the Mediterranean Market Collection. I got x4 of Summer Tiramisu in-store and ordered the rest online (on a whim) because these are the scents I tend to enjoy (coffee/gourmand, aquatic/unisex, lemony/uplifting).

Summer Tiramisu Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

A rich, Italian treat of espresso bean, creamy vanilla & whipped sugar

Also from the Mediterranean Market Collection was another version of Summer Tiramisu! I was ecstatic when I spotted this baby in-store! Like I said, I couldn’t decide between the Creamy Luxe Hand Soaps and Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps, so I got x4 of each!

I love that there’s both an Espresso and Tiramisu depicted on the packaging! I’m not even kidding but I’ve got bedsheets that are an identical dupe of the tablecloth shown lol I’m not a huge fan of the Vespa (above the the name) which also makes an appearance on a 3-wick Candle and a PocketBac in the same collection. I mean, I get the significance, but still, it’s not the prettiest thing in the world. I love the pink liquid though and find it quite cute! All in all, I’m pretty happy that I snagged this baby!

Bergamot Waters Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

A bright, rejuvenating blend of fresh bergamot, pristine blue waters & white cedarwood

I first fell in love with Bergamot Waters several years ago and purchased it in the form of a large 3-wick Candle (dis) and purchased it more recently as a Concentrated Roomy Spray (dis).

Honestly, with so many different offerings, scent-wise and Bath&Body Works churning out even more, on the regular, it can get overwhelming and be pretty easy to forget about some of them (even the stand out scents). Bergamot Waters is one of those scents I sorta’ just forgot about.

Bergamot Waters is fresh and aquatic and uplifting and sexy and just… gorgeous! I feel like it would be a real crowd-pleaser as well, appealing to both men and women! Typically, this would be reserved for hot summer months as with most aquatic scents, but I see myself using this baby year-round!

The packaging is nice and simple and this particular shade of blue reflects the name beautifully! I loved Bergamot Waters so much that I couldn’t help but snatch x2 Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps, a small single-wick Jar Candle and a large 3-wick Candle while in-store!

Out of everything in this haul, you need to give Bergamot Waters a sniff. Trust.

Mahogany Teakwood Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

A woodsy, mysterious blend of rich mahogany, black teakwood & dark oak

I’ve actually clocked Mahogany Teakwood Gentle Foaming Hand Soap much earlier, but couldn’t decide if it was worth purchasing or not. While I used to rave and rave about Mahogany Teakwood back in the day, now I find it a bit too perfume-y/cologne-y, which tends to annoy me.

That said, the all black packaging strongly appealed to me. I thought it would look chic on display in my guest bathroom. Also, I’ve never experienced it as a Gentle Foaming Hand Soap prior to this and might possibly find the scent less overwhelming in this form.

I ordered just the one online, to test out. If I like it, I’ll be stocking up for my guest bathroom, during the next sale.

Aromatherapy Sleep (Black Chamomile + Bergamot) Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

Chamomile Essential Oil calms the mind. Bergamot Essential Oil promotes well-being

I tend to avoid the Aromatherapy range because more often than not, I usually end up with duds. However, I thought the packaging on this thing was quite cute! It had a constellation… of a crescent moon (lolwut?) with stars dotting the background on the front and to the side.

Also, I’ve learned that I really enjoy notes of Bergamot in things! Chamomile on the other hand, could be quite hit or miss for me. Still, this particular scent was named Sleep (of which I get barely get any) and I do so love a good gimmick ergo dis!

After I had finished up my latest Hand Soap which was my fourth and final Aquamarine Shores (haulage here), I started using Sleep and I must say, while it may not lull me to sleep, it does smell surprisingly pleasant! It’s quite tame for a Hand Soap (the scent is barely discernible) but the Bergamot makes it smell nice and uplifting and a wee bit masculine/unisex. It’s nothing mind-blowing by any means, but I quite like it!

So these are the Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps I got during the sale. Summer Tiramisu and Bergamot Waters purchased in-store while the rest were purchased online, to try out for possible future repurchase in bulk (during the next sale) for decorative purposes (guest bathrooms).

Summer Tiramisu PocketBac

A rich, Italian treat of espresso bean, creamy vanilla & whipped sugar

PocketBacs were reduced from KD 1/250 to KD 0/500 which was not great, but still do-able.

I’d actually filled up my online cart with x4 different types of PocketBacs with cute graphics and puns. I didn’t see Summer Tiramisu online and didn’t even know of its existence up until I saw it in-store. The only reason I was at the store was to smell Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap (which I couldn’t find at the store) and to give several of the 3-wick Candles a sniff.

I was busy sniffing PocketBacs when I spotted the tester for Summer Tiramisu and gave it a try and instantly fell in love! It was yummy coffee goodness! I set all the other PocketBacs aside and grabbed x2 and then another x2 of Summer Tiramisu! Obviously, once I spotted Summer Tiramisu Hand Soaps, I quickly hoarded those as well!

Summer Tiramisu

Not quite sure how pink relates to Summer Tiramisu but I am here for it! So cute!

Summer Tiramisu

A rich, Italian treat of espresso bean, creamy vanilla & whipped sugar

It might seem a bit excessive but I didn’t want to be kicking myself in the future for not getting more when I had the chance.

Island Papaya Deep Cleansing Hand Soap
Capri Ocean Breeze Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
Limoncello Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
Sunshine and Lemons Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
– x4 Summer Tiramisu Creamy Luxe Hand Soap
– x4 Summer Tiramisu Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
– x2 Bergamot Waters Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
Mahogany Teakwood Gentle Foaming Hand Soap
Aromatherapy Sleep (Black Chamomile + Bergamot) Gentle Foaming Hand Soap

I really like the Hand Soaps from Bath&Body Works (specifically the Deep Cleansing ones) because they look nice and decorative, wherever you choose to display them (personal bathroom, guest bathroom, kitchen sink, etc…) and some of those scents are extremely delightful!

x16 Hand Soaps might seem crazy but I go through these things pretty quick. Also, instead of having to spend KD 52 I ended up spending KD 19/750 which seemed like a pretty good deal. Obviously, I’m most excited for Summer Tiramisu (because… coffee-scented goodness!) but I’m pretty happy with all the scents I got (hopefully, they won’t disappoint)!
