Forever 21 Haul (October)

I parked my car outside Forever 21 to get to H&M so I could exchange the H&M White V-Neck Frilled Blouse (haulage here) for a smaller size. I was only passing through F21 when I saw some stunning Blue Tweed Lace-Up Platform Boots (they had metallic thread running through them that sparkled so beautifully) and these gorgeous White Pointed Toe Ankle Booties. Realistically speaking, I doubt I’d feel comfy wearing the Blue Tweed Lace-Ups out in public (they were a bit extra), but I had to try on those White Booties! One thing led to another and I ended up getting 2 Red Tops (one from the men’s section and one from the women’s section) and 1 Blue Crossbody Bag and even a colorful Lilac/Pink Ombre Wig (don’t ask), in addition to those White Booties! The total for everything I got was only KD 39. Out of all my hauls, I think this one was hands down the cutest!

Red Enjoy Coke Graphic Tee retails for KD5

An “Enjoy Coca-Cola®” graphic adorns the front of this knit tee featuring a ribbed crew neck and short sleeves. 100% cotton
– Officially licensed product

I thought this top was so cute, especially since given a choice between Pepsi or Coke, I stan Coke! Even if you’re not a fan, it’s a cute top in its own right (what with it being all red and cute)! I could see myself layering this top with everything from my longer New Look Coats (haulage here) to my contrasting H&M Green Double-Breasted Jacket (haulage here) or H&M Black Leather Biker Jacket (haulage here) or my Bershka Black/Red Faux Shearling Biker Jacket (haulage here) or my Next Jean Jacket (haulage here). The possibilities were endless! Did I mention that it was really cute? Apparently, Coca-Cola had collaborated with Forever 21 on an entire collection that included everything you could think of (from all kinds of clothing pieces to accessories)! I couldn’t find an X-Small so I picked this up in a size Small (didn’t try it on because I needed to hotfoot it to H&M).

Red Enjoy Coke Men’s Graphic Tee retails for KD5

A knit tee featuring a crew neckline, short sleeves, and a front “Enjoy Coke®” text graphic. 100% Cotton
– Officially licensed product
– Model is wearing size Large

I was completely smitten with the Red Enjoy Coke Graphic Tee that I picked up the exact same design… from the Men’s section. Honestly, I spotted this version first (while trying on the White Booties) and actually threw it on over my top (I didn’t feel like going into the changing room and… changing). Initially, I thought it would make a cute top to sleep in. After trying it on, I realized it was a bit too structured (I prefer sleeping in slouchy and loose clothes i.e. less constrictive), but I was already smitten with this top! Even when I spotted the exact same one for women (towards the entrance to the mall), my heart wouldn’t let me give this one up. So I just got both! I guess I could wear this around the home or something. I got the men’s version in a size Small too.

White Pointed Toe Ankle Booties retail for KD 12

A pair of faux leather ankle booties featuring a pointed toe, dual side elastic gore, a covered high heel, and a pull-on construction. Available in Black and White. Heel height: 3.5″

Gorgeousness! Secret Time: The main reason why I’ve been stalking Zara (every branch) since the Summer (mentioned here and later on here) was because I was on the look-out for a pair of White Leather Boots. It was available on the local Zara website (with a reference code and everything), but every time I’d ask a Sales Assistant, they told me that they had yet to receive them and that I should come back in 2 weeks or so (it’s been months). I’d tossed out my Winter White Knee-High Boots (featured here) and was looking for something similar (except not knee-high). I kinda’ gave up on ever finding them at Zara (which is expected from most stores, when you live in this part of the world) so I was elated when I spotted these White Pointed Toe Ankle Booties! After months of searching for a pair of White Boots, I finally found ones that I loved! Obviously, I had to try them on! Size 38 seemed a smidge too tight whereas the Size 39 was clearly too big. I figured I’d go with the Size 38 and hopefully they’d stretch out after I’ve worn them a couple of times (broken them in). I wasn’t over the moon about the Black Elastic Bands on the side, but when worn with longer pants, they don’t really show. I’m so, so, so happy and thankful that I got these White Booties!

Blue Faux Croc Crossbody retails for KD 10

A faux croc leather crossbody featuring a flap top with a push-lock closure, two compartments, an interior zip pocket, and adjustable shoulder strap.

If you’ve read my really, really long post mentioning all my Handbags (here), you’ll know that I’m quite partial to Snake Print and Croc Embossed Designs on my Handbags (or anything else, for that matter). Since I’d gotten rid of my Blue Faux Croc Clutch (photos here), I figured this cutie warranted a purchase! Blue and simple and glossy and croc embossed and easy to maintain? Yes, ma’am! This baby ticked off all the right boxes for me! Best of all, the hardware was not a refletive gold (blech) and actually a more palatable reflective silver!

I feel like this baby would pair well with everything from my Parisian-Style New Look Navy Wide Collar Coat (haulage here) or my impossibly soft Promod Dark Blue Cable-Knit Jumper (haulage here) or my cozy Zara Navy Blue Chenille Sweater (haulage here) or my collegiate Zara Navy Blue Midi Skirt with Contrasting Stripes (haulage here) or my very chill Mango Flowy Striped Dress (haulage here) or my missing Forever 21 Navy Skinny Mid-Rise Pants (haulage here) or any of my H&M Denim Jeans and Treggings (haulage here) or the epitome of cool, American Eagle Dark Wash Wide Leg Jeans (haulage here)! I feel like it would pop beautifully against my really cool Zara White T-Shirt With Knot (haulage here) or H&M White V-Neck Frilled Blouse (haulage here) or even my H&M White Denim Skinny Regular Jeans (haulage here) too! Heck, it would even pair well with the stuff I got in this haul, from the White Booties to the Red Coke T-shirt! Based on my normal everyday outfits (Girl’s Not Grey and London Blues), this baby would assimilate seamlessly!

Dusky Lavender Hair Wig (long layers with bangs) retails for KD 7

A long synthetic hair wig featuring an interior mesh lining with adjustable swan-hook closures, long layers, and bangs. Available in Dusky Lavender (Ombre Unicorn Lavender and Light Pink) and Sugarplum (Purple) and Hot Pink (Coral)

Lastly, at the check-out counter, while paying for all my stuff, I spotted these little boxes that housed what appeared to be brightly colored wigs! I couldn’t help but let out a delighted little squeak! The Egyptian Sales Assistant manning the cash register was heaven-sent! He noticed my excitement and mentioned that these were only KD7 each! I couldn’t decide between the Purple (Sugarplum) or Coral (Hot Pink) and I said so. His reply was “Oh, you should’ve been here earlier, because we had an even prettier one in an ombre lilac/pink (Dusky Lavender), but unfortunately we sold out”. Considering I didn’t know that these Wigs even existed 5 minutes earlier, I was absolutely devastated! I’m assuming he noticed my crest-fallen expression (I could feel my face fall lol such a drama queen) and so that wonderful, wonderful human being searched high and low for me, until he found what was apparently the very last piece! Had it not been taboo in our somewhat conservative little country, I would’ve hugged the man! I could not have been more grateful! Now, with that said, I’ve never actually worn a Wig before. Also, where does one wear a Wig (and an Ombre one at that) out and about in Kuwait? lol

Like I said, this post is hands down one of my cutest hauls, ever!
