Despite the fact that I can’t stand the Soug Sharq branch of Debenhams (based on my previous experience here), I had to go back there again, because it’s the only place in Kuwait (that I know of) where they sell Farsali. I wanted to purchase the Farsali Unicorn Essence as a birthday gift for my older brother’s wife (she happens to be obsessed with highlighters). Seeing as how well the Farsali Unicorn Essence made my highlight just pop (haulage here), I figured she’d definitely enjoy using the Farsali Unicorn Essence too. I managed to spot the Farsali Jelly Beam Highlighter (only in the shade Glazed which frankly is the prettiest anyway) and the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir (white packaging), in case anyone is interested. Also, the staff were just as obnoxious and annoying as they were about a year ago.
I had to snap a photo of this thing at night-time (hence the yellow tint of artificial lighting), because I was going to hand it over to the recipient during her birthday brunch the very next day. I’m happy to report that she not only knew what it was, but was actually delighted to receive it! Everyone including the birthday girl, kept asking me if I’d purchased it online (because they’d never actually seen it being sold in Kuwait) and I kept having to assure them that it was readily available at the Soug Sharq branch of Debenhams (directly facing the cash register in the perfume section). Personally, I’ve found a multitude of uses for the Unicorn Essence (more on that in a separate post) and as such, absolutely love the stuff! I hope my sister-in-law will love it too!
