H&M were having a promo on their Beauty items, so I decided to check out the Salmiya branch, but couldn’t resist picking up a few clothing items while I was there. It’s nothing exciting, mostly Loungewear and Basics for Winter.
Jersey Top – Dark Grey – Fitted top in jersey with a wide neckline and short sleeves. KD 1.990
I love all things Dark Grey (… and Lilac and Taupe) so I was immediately drawn to this T-shirt. You gotta’ see it in real life because the color is just so pretty! Also, I get so much use out of basics like this Top, because I can wear it on its own, or with any jacket over-top (good for layering). It’ll pair nicely with most of my darker jeans and such. Plus, it matches with the next two items (Sweatpants) that I actually picked out before this. I’ve already worn this a handful of times and it’s kinda’ see-through during the day :/ At less than KD 2 I really can’t complain though.
Sweatpants – Dark Grey Marl and Dark Blue – Trousers in soft sweatshirt fabric with an elasticated drawstring waist, side pockets and ribbed hems. Soft brushed inside. KD 5.990
I loved the previous pair of Sweats (hauled here) that I got from H&M so much (so soft!), that I decided to pick up a few more. I can’t quite place it but these felt… different, somehow. They were slightly tighter and bulkier in the thigh area. Regardless, they still felt incredibly soft (like what I imagine being hugged by a cloud feels like) and were perfect for lounging around the house in during Winter, paired with my Next Black Slippers (hauled here), or for running errands and such, also during Winter, paired with my Marks & Spencer Green Ugg-inspired Shearling Boots (reviewed here). I’ve already gotten so much use out of these so I’m definitely going back for more!
Overdyed Twill Trousers – Burgundy – Trousers in washed stretch twill with a high waist, zip fly and button, front and back pockets and slim legs. KD 8.500
I fell in love with these as soon as I laid eyes on them! The photo does not even begin to do them justice! These trousers look so nice in real life! They had them hanging by these gorgeous Burgundy Combat Boots, one in what appears to be vinyl and the other in what felt like er, felt (could’ve been faux suede, I dunno) but unfortunately the Boots fit really weird around my ankle (the bad side of being skinny) so I had to pass on getting them. These Trousers however, are so cool! Plus, I’ve already got a bunch of tops (from previous H&M hauls) that match!
