I was at Sultan Center and thiiiis close to buying either a L’Oreal or Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (just to see why people are still going crazy over Micellar Water) but changed my mind at the last second and picked up this Cleansing Milk instead. I know for a fact that Micellar Water does nothing for me, so why waste any more money on it? My Holy Grail will always be Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Makeup Remover (reviewed here). However, it’s good to have a few makeup removers that perform similarly, just in case for whatever reason the entire country runs out of stock (which is what happened here and here).
L’Oreal Hydra-Total 5 Pure Cleansing Milk was a bit more runny than what I’m used to, stung my eyes if they got into them (through the inner corners) and used up a lot of cotton pads with each application. That said, it removed my makeup efficiently (but left the tiniest hint of a residue that was easily washed away with water). Here’s the thing though, I swear it smells like Green Apples but nobody else seems to notice it (even after I kept shoving the thing in their faces for them to smell it). Also, what’s with this whole number “5” thing? Garnier Ultra Doux 5 Plants Vitalizing Shampoo (reviewed here) and now L’Oreal Hydra-Total 5 Pure Cleansing Milk. Why not 4 or 7, eh? Very suspicious. Anyways, I finished up the whole thing and it was alright but I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing it anytime soon.
