I was hunting down a particular hair care product and after weeks of checking out all the Sultan Centers in the country (well, not all) my friends and family were sick of my constant need to stop by every single Sultan Center along the way (read: not really along the way and actually more like way, waaaay out of our, er, way), when my father’s chauffeur told me of a secret Sultan Center! It’s not really a secret, as it’s actually pretty well-known but I’ve never been there before so it’s an untapped source of hair care, skincare and beauty products for me! The place he was talking about was The Sultan Center Wholesale Center in Kuwait City. I found what I was looking for and then some! That’s where I came across Nancy by the brand Sapil. The bright green packaging was what made me gravitate towards it because I figured it would have be one of those “fresh” scent. I sniffed the tester in-store, was smitten with the scent, bought it, held on to the receipt, and of course now that I’m posting this, I can’t seem to find the receipt so I can’t tell you how much it cost but I’m pretty sure it was dirt cheap. I’ll be sure to update this post once it turns up, or if I ever go there again, or if someone who knows how much it costs leaves a comment below.
Apparently, Sapil is another United Arab Emirates brand that makes perfume sprays and deodorants for Men and Women, at a really affordable price. They even have an expiration date on the sticker at the bottom of the bottle. I mean, how convenient is that? You can find out more on Sapil if you visit their website. Link below.
I don’t know what it is about this Nancy (Green) perfume but I just can’t stop sniffing my wrist. It’s a floral scent (which I normally hate) but it also has that uplifting freshness, as well as a hint of something very slightly sweet (honey?) in it, that makes me want to keep sniffing it again and again (can’t stop, won’t stop). I suspect it might even have some “green apple” in it. Nancy (Green), not to be confused with Nancy (Pink) was released in 2004 but I can see why it’s still around today. It’s not my usual type of fragrance but there’s something addictive about this musky, woody, fresh floral that make me enjoy it so much! It’s everything I wanted A Beautiful Day by Bath & Body Works to be! I definitely see myself getting a lot of wear out of Nancy (Green) during the upcoming Spring and Summer months. For once, I found a good, cheap-y perfume! Excellent job, Sapil! I’m so pleased with this fragrance and I’m totally gonna’ keep an eye out for other offerings from them!
