Diamancel Foot Buffer #11

Diamancel was founded in 1994 by Ginette Godbout, a professional in the beauty business for 30 years. Specializing in manicures and pedicures, she was frustrated with the lack of high-end tools available in her industry. She researched the diamond, inspired by its durability, in hopes of creating the ultimate filing instrument that would become the ‘Rolls Royce‘ of all mani/pedi essentials.

The word “Diamond” evokes images of beauty, elegance and romance, yet the diamond is also the hardest, most abrasive stone known to man.

Diamancel has captured each of these qualities, creating a unique line of genuine diamond files.

Each Flexible Diamond Nail File in the Diamancel family has been designed for specific nail types to beautifully shape and enhance both natural and sculptured nails. The Diamancel Diamond Hand and Foot Callus Files are ideal for removing and softening rough, dry skin.

This is the Diamancel #11 The Tough Buffer Foot File I mentioned in the previous post My Story: Foot Care. They do have others but I only purchased #11 (shown in above photo). At $49 it is quite expensive but so very worth it. In fact, I like to think that at this point, this thing has totally payed for itself.

This is what it looks like face-down.

Here’s a close-up of the Diamancel logo.

Here’s a close-up of the handle. It’s textured which makes it easier to get a firm grip so it won’t just slip out of your hand. It also has some give to it (somewhat flexible) making it easier to maneuver.

Here’s a side-view so you can see how slim it is. It’s perfect because I can just slide it into my transparent toiletries bag (which I never travel without) as an after-thought, without having to worry about taking everything out to make it fit. You can also store it pretty much anywhere as it doesn’t take up much space. I love how easy it is to maintain; just rinse with warm water and soap to clean.

Diamonds truly are forever because I’ve had this baby since 2007 and it still performs just as well as the day I got it. Even it’s performance is on another level, in comparison to other foot files! As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve got calluses (3 on each foot) and this is the only tool that takes care of them for me. The #11 truly is a game-changer! You just run it along dry feet and it does all the work for you. You can use it in the shower, if you want, but that’ll dull down the abrasiveness in the long-run, and it’s not actually meant to be used that way. I use mine after showering (but I’ll hop back in the shower to rinse my feet before drying them off again). Sometimes I’ll even take #11 with me to my pedicure appointment. I always take it with me when I travel (even if it’s just for a weekend trip). This thing is magic! I love that it’s slim and looks sleek so I don’t have to worry about keeping it out of sight or finding space to stash it. Honestly, I think Ginette Godbout succeeded in creating the “Rolls Royce” of all pedicure essentials and #11 is it. Everyone needs #11 in their life (even those who don’t suffer from calluses). I purchased mine from Blissworld.com and have turned so many people onto it since. I can’t even begin to imagine my life without #11.
