Conditioning Nail Polish Remover
Enriched with apricot kernel oil and pro-vitamin B5 to help keep nails in top condition.
I’ve tried so many nail polish removers from so many different brands over the years, from high-end to low-end. The more gentle removers usually need a little elbow grease for them to completely remove everything off my nails and when using darker polishes, brighter polishes or glitter polishes, I’ll have to use almost half a pack of cotton pads just to get everything off. Some nail polish removers will leave some sort of “hydrating” residue behind (which totally skeeves me out) while others will completely dry out my hands. The one thing they all have in common is that they all have a horrible scent. I was always on the lookout for a decent nail polish remover until Boots opened up shop in Kuwait. Normally, the quality of home-brand products are sub-par but I purchased the Conditioning Nail Polish Remover (150ml) from Boots (by Boots) for KD 1 and have been repurchasing it ever since.
This totally removes every strip of paint from my nails quickly, easily, and efficiently. It works great on my glitter polishes as well. Some people claim that this stuff even removes their UV topcoats and shellac or gel nail polishes but I can’t confirm nor deny that because I only use regular nail polish (my nails are too weak for anything more). I find that with this nail polish remover, you don’t have to go through so many cotton pads or cotton balls as just one or two is sufficient enough to remove everything off your nails. The packaging is boring but I like that it’s transparent because I can stock up before I run out. I like the neck of the bottle because it makes it easier to control how much product comes out onto the cotton pad. The screw-on cap is pretty flimsy and actually broke while I was trying to secure the cap by twisting it a bit too tightly. This happened while I was on vacation and I had to leave the whole thing behind so this product isn’t exactly travel-friendly. Then again, I doubt normal people take a huge thing of nail polish with them on vacation, even if they are going to be abroad for 2-3 months. Aside from all that, this nail polish remover scents my nails with a delightful fruity fragrance. Even though this does contain Acetone somehow it smells great! Scent-wise, I can’t stand the smell of apricots, peaches, and cherries yet I absolutely love the scent of this apricot kernel oil enriched nail polish remover. To me it almost smells like sweet clementines or orange-flavored candy. I always wash my hands after using a nail polish remover but even after all that deep cleansing, the sweet fruity scent will still linger. That’s why this polish remover is not only my favorite nail polish remover but also my holy grail. I love that I can always find this at any of the ubiquitous Boots stores in Kuwait or abroad and that it’s super inexpensive. This Conditioning Nail Polish Remover completely removes everything off your nails without drying out your hands and actually scents them with a delightful fruity fragrance! I wholeheartedly recommend this product because it’s been my favorite for years and years!
