I picked up a bunch of stuff accumulated through several trips. Some of them were purchased during the big sale, and some were purchased before that.
I picked up 3 hand soaps in the scents Weekend Apple Picking, A Walk in the Woods, and Dark Kiss. I got Apple Picking because I love the scent of apples, as evident by my past purchases of Fresh Market Apple Hand Soap (hauled here), Irresistible Apple Body Lotion (hauled here), and from the Fresh-Picked Collection; Fresh Picked Farmstand Apple Hand Cream, Fresh Picked Honeycrisp Apple Hand Soap, and Fresh Picked Honeycrisp Apple Body Wash (all hauled here). A Walk in the Woods has notes of Golden Leaves, Red Rosewood, and Cool Bergamot or at least that’s what it says on the side of the bottle. It actually has a lovely Arabesque (my nose detects sandalwood) scent! I feel like this would be perfect for Arabs, especially in their guest bathrooms, or better yet for a an all-male Diwaniya bathroom (It’s an Arab thing). It just comes across as an elegant scent! As for Dark Kiss, I already know that I love the scent of Dark Kiss because I’ve previously owned a candle in the same scent (hauled here) and a bunch of Dark Kiss minis (hauled here). These retail for KD3/000 each (but there was a buy two get one free offer, as always)
I picked up a Lemon Pomegranate Cream Soap because the bright cute packaging caught my eye and it smelled nice! I haven’t gotten around to using it yet. It was originally KD2/000 but I got it for KD1/250.
Snow white vanilla, warm caramel, and whipped cream
If you follow my blog, you’ll know that I love gourmand scents and that I’m a long time fan of Vanilla Bean Noel, which comes out every Christmas. It’s a gorgeous, heady scent of vanilla on steroids but I never seem to be able to find the full sizes so I only manage to get the little minis which last me all of 2 weeks, and that’s if I ration them. After all these years, I finally managed to find them in full sizes! It’s a miracle … a Christmas Miracle!
Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel (10 fl oz) and the Vanilla Bean Noel Body Lotion (8 fl oz) were both knocked down from KD4/750 each to KD2/250 each. Regardless of the fact that this is a Winter scent, I use Vanilla Bean Noel (when it’s actually on hand) all year round, which eventually results in a friend or family member falling in love with the scent and asking for it. So of course I hand over the body lotion (because the shower gel would already be out by then, remember, these are mini-sizes) and wait until next Christmas so I can purchase it again and the process repeats itself again.
I picked up 2 Red Velvet Cupcake 3 wick candles for KD7/000 each. A friend had asked me to pick one up for them and I didn’t wanna miss out on what could potentially be an amazing candle so I picked one up for myself as well. Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with Red Velvet Cupcake. I’ll catch a whiff of it as I’m coming or going and think “Yum!” (especially when it’s “that time of the month”) but usually when I sniff it up close, I think “Ugh, too chocolate-y”. I regret picking this up now so I’m thinking of either giving this away too or waiting for Winter so I could burn it during cooler weather and maybe learn to love it.
I picked up 3 mini-sizes candles in mason jars in the scent Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding. These things are stupid cute! I love unusual scents like this and in Kuwait you don’t usually come across actual Banana Nutmeg Bread Pudding (unless you’re making it yourself) let alone a candle in that scent. I quickly burned through these as soon as I got them and even though they were minis, the throw on them was pretty decent. These cuties retail for KD1/250 each.
As I said before, I was running low on candles so I decided to pick up another wallflower fragrance plug and a handful of wallflower fragrance refills. The fragrance already in the plug is Twilight Woods because obviously I couldn’t wait to use it. Again, there’s almost always a buy 2-get-1-free deal on these (including the fragrance plug itself). The wallflower fragrance plug retails for KD2/500
The others 3 wallflower fragrance refills are Beautiful Day, Sundrenched Vineyard, and my beloved Vanilla Bean Noel. I got Twilight Woods because it is one of my all time favorites (I’ve reviewed it in mini body lotion form here, mini body lotion form, mini shower gel form and pocketbac form here, shea cashmere hand cream form here, mini fine fragrance mist form here, pocketbac form again here, and triple moisture body cream which I haven’t mentioned on my blog). Beautiful Day (which I’ve purchased in mini Eau de Toilette form here, full-sized body lotion and shower gel here, and mini body lotion here) is yet another endearing apple scent and I just can’t get enough of apple-scented products. Sundrenched Vineyard enticed me with its name and the picture it depicted. Vanilla Bean Noel is another tried and true favorite. Twilight Woods (perfume-y), Beautiful Day (fresh), Sundrenched Vineyard (fruity), and Vanilla Bean Noel (gourmand). These normally retail for KD2/000 each except Vanilla Bean Noel which was on sale for KD1/250.
I picked up 3 lipglosses from the liplicious line, Blush Glass marketed as a lip stain, Plump Glass marketed as a lip plump, and Jelly Pops in Watermelon which is just a regular sheer gloss. The thing is, I’m banking on these having some kind of flavor to them as most of the glosses from the liplicious lines usually do. The packaging although juvenile, is quite cute! There’s usually a buy-2-get-1-free on lip stuff, provided you purchase all 3 from the same line (for example I wanted to purchase 2 liplgosses from the liplcious line and the third from the C.O. Bigelow line but apparently the offer doesn’t apply if you cross-purchase). These retail for KD2/500 each.
I’m pretty much set when it comes to PocketBacs from my Perfect Summer haul (here) but Vanilla Bean Noel is a necessity and Lemon Meringue Cheer well… it’s Lemon Meringue, ’nuff said. These normally cost KD1/000 each but they were on “sale” for KD/750 each.
Oops. Almost forgot to include these Shea-Infused Lounge Socks (Shea Butter should last up to 25 washings). I always see this (well not this specific one but different variations of it) around Bath and Body Works and always pass them up. I’m super lazy when it comes to moisturizing my feet. I’ll scrub, buff, and exfoliate my feet vigorously while in the shower and cut, file, and polish my toe nails just as energetically once I’m out of the shower but when it comes to moisturizing my feet, I always procrastinate. Basically these Shea-Infused Lounge Socks are perfect! All I have to do is just put them on and boom, moisturized feet. I’ve always wanted to try the ones from Bliss so I opted for these instead. These retail for KD3/000.
Overall, I’m super happy about my Vanilla Bean Noel haulage ^_^
