A foundation revolution has arrived—liquid makeup in a cushion. A weightless formula creates a dewy, fresh glow. Anytime, anywhere.
Lancome Miracle Cushion, coming soon to Kuwait! I know that I stated in this post that I don’t really wear foundation that much but I also touched on the fact that I’m simply fascinated by Asian (specifically Japanese and Korean) culture including but not limited to their innovative beauty products, skincare regimens and such. We inherited the BB cream craze from Asia. Then CC creams, also from Asia, and now Miracle Cushions (you guessed it) also from the Asia. Lancome is the first European brand to introduce Miracle Cushion technology to the rest of the world!
This oil-free Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact creates a dewy finish for a polished glow. Its innovative cushion sponge contains over 800,000 pores to transfer the ideal amount of product for an effortless makeup application. This multitasking formula is infused with skincare actives that give skin a boost of intense hydration, delivering a cooling sensation while brightening the appearance of skin. Miracle Cushion provides the benefits of a BB/CC cream while offering the benefits of light to medium coverage found in a liquid foundation. Simply give this foundation compact an easy tap for light coverage, and then give it a heavier tap for more coverage. Suspended in a cushion sponge, the liquid is enclosed in an air-tight compact for convenient portability.
So it’s a liquid foundation, housed in a portable compact, and the way you apply it is by pressing the puff into the cushion and gently patting the puff on your face, or you can also apply this with your regular foundation brush or sponge. How much coverage you get depends on how much pressure you use; pressing down on the cushion lightly will give you a lighter coverage while pressing down more firmly will give you a heavier coverage. The formula of the liquid foundation itself is supposed to be hydrating, weightless, and build-able, and even “cooling” upon application, ultimately leading to that dewy finish.
One of these shades is bound to be a match for my odd sallow skin especially since this foundation comes in not only warm undertones and cool undertones but also neutral! I can already foresee germaphobes (including myself) having a problem with this product for obvious reasons. That said, it’s still not enough to deter me from getting this once Lancome releases it to the world.
