Natural glamour appears effortless, and in its element with M•A•C’s face and colour collection set to heat up winter looks. Features our coveted Mineralize Skinfinish, Blush and Eye Shadow, and Tinted Lip Balm. Also introducing Pro Longwear Eye Liner.
Although this was yet another Mineralize Collection, I didn’t get much, aside from these 3 items. I thought I should cool it (see what I did there? Apres Chic… cool it… yeah, I’m easily amused) with the hoarding of mineralize products but quite frankly I kinda’ regret not getting a few of those gorgeous duochrome-y eyeshadows that came out in the Apres Chic Collection.
Apres Chic Lipstick (pinky brick red, cremesheen finish) I was expecting this to be as dark as the lipstick in the promo ad (first photo) but Apres Chic is actually quite a few shades lighter. On me it’s still very much a red but with a glossy finish, which is precisely why I love cremesheen lipsticks. It gives a sort of juicy look to the lips.
I decided to pick up 2 out of the 5 Pro Longwear Eyeliners in the shades Black Ice (rich black) and Mountain Air (vibrant teal) I gotta be honest, I just wanted to try out the Pro Longwear Eyeliners, especially after seeing how the Pro Longwear Bronzers performed so excellently. I got a sensible black because that’s actually one of the very few shades that I’m always running out of, and a gorgeous teal because as we’ve already established, I’m very attracted to teal eyeliners.
Here are swatches of all of them (First Row: Apres Chic Lipstick, Second Row: Mountain Air and Black Ice Pro Longwear Eyeliners, Last Row: Hi-def Cyan Chromographic Pencil) I’ve swatched Mountain Air above Hi-Def Cyan in the last photo so you can compare them to each other.
