MAC Peaches Sheertone Blush

MAC Sheertone Blush in Peaches is one of my first blushes from MAC. This is from the permanent line so you can pick it up at anytime.

Again, after accumulating a certain amount of eyeshadows from MAC, I decided to branch out and try their other products. They had several blushes on display but at that time, I wasn’t sure what worked with my complexion so I stuck with what I knew, peaches!

Blush wasn’t essential to my makeup routine just yet. The only one I ever wore was from The Body Shop in a peachy brown coral shade. I went through several of those (What can I say? I’m a creature of habit.) over the years before they changed the packaging into ridiculously smaller versions of the previous packaging. It was a quarter of the size of my blush brush! I switched to Deep Throat from Nars which was available at VaVaVoom and liked it equally as much as Orgasm (which was never available so I had to order it online). They were all in the same color family, more or less, which is why I went for Peaches.

Peaches is described on MAC’s website as a pure peach with a sheertone finish. This can be a bit too sheer (hence sheertone) on my Arab complexion but as you can see from the heavy swatch on my hand, you can easily build it up. The fact that this is so sheer makes it fool-proof for even the most heavy handed of us. Although I hate the actual fruit, the way it smells, the way it tastes, and so on, I love this blush. From its name (Peaches, Apricots, etc… I’m all over that) to the color, to the application, everything about this is just so cutesy <3

  1. Oooh Raizen looks really nice too! As for Peaches, there are plenty of drugstore dupes with better pigmentation nowadays anyway. I’m just going through my MAC collection before I move on to reviewing those ;)
