Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Body Buff in I’m in the mood for scrub

After a few uses, I quickly realized that this Body Buff in “I’m in the mood for scrub” was a fail. I’ve tried using it with my bare hands, a loofah, and a shower glove but nothing works. Sadly, it’s got the same problem I’d encountered with the St Ives Apricot Scrub (which I’ve reviewed here). This stuff is really rough on the skin, which I like love, but unfortunately it also skips. You can go over the same area, back and forth, several times and still manage to skip over certain parts.

I did not notice any “foaming” action, at all. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t even manage to build up a lather. I don’t know about you but personally, I don’t feel clean unless I’ve got a nice lather going on.

Lastly, this had a pretty offensive medicinal smell to it making this extremely unpleasant to use. It’s not enough that my OCD kicked in (patches of squeaky-clean skin, and then patches of just clean skin drove me crazy) every time I used this stuff, but the smell was horrible. I finished up all 16 fl oz of this product as you can see from the photo on the left (only the dregs clinging to the sides are left) but I strongly suggest you skip it, unless you don’t mind all of the things I mentioned above.
