It’s no secret that I love experimenting with bath (read: shower) products almost as much as I love playing around with my makeup so I was delighted to pick up a few random bath/shower tools from the Salwa branch of Sultan Center.
First up, is a Shampoo Comb by Bathmark. It struck me as a weird take on the Tangle Teezer so I wanted to try it and compare the two.
I wish it had come in a protective packaging of some sort as it looked quite dingy at the store but beggars can’t be choosers.
Next, I picked up a foot scrub shaped like a foot (lawl) by stoodio bath, another brand I’ve never heard of before. You just wet the thing, then apply some shower gel on it (or whatever else you wanna use) and while standing up, gently rub one foot at a time across the scrubbing surface. There’s some mumbo jumbo on the packaging on the back about reflexology and pressure points and how this foot scrub promotes health and well-being but c’mon now.
Here’s what it looks like on the bottom. A couple of suction cups strategically placed on the foot scrub so you can stick this on your bathroom floor or bathtab without having to worry about slipping and breaking something. Pretty convenient, no?
A close up of the suction cups.
Here’s what it looks like from the top.
Another close up of what it looks like from the top.
This next product, pumice sponge by the brand Titania, is a repurchase. This is one of the best tools you can ever use on your feet! It makes sloughing off the dead skin from your feet (lovely image, I know) relatively easy. Remember, I love back-breaking high-heels which results in calluses but this in conjunction with any foot scrub, keeps those pesky calluses at bay.
If you are going to buy this, make sure it’s the Titania pumice sponge that says Made in Germany and not some generic knock-off.
The way it’s designed makes this fit nicely ergonomically in your hand making it easier to get a firm grip on the thing.
These come in an array of different colors. Hubby has a blue one and my last one was pink.
The only downside is that these start looking ratchet real quick so you gotta’ replace them regularly.
Another product from Bathmark, is these shower gloves I picked up in pink (because they were pink, duh).
