Packaging: “Autumn” comes in a glass jar with a sticker slapped across the front with the product’s brand name, scent name, and a matching picture. In this case, it’s a bunch of trees in the background and some orange leaves depicting “Autumn”. Another sticker slapped across the bottom has important information which I will add at the end of this post. The candle comes with a removable top that has a reflective finish on the outside (hello fingerprints!) and protective rubber lining on the inside. The candle itself is a creamy color. 113g/4 oz costs (KD4/500) or (AED50.00) or ($12.50).

Scent: When I first took a sniff, I could smell red apples. I prefer big juicy green apples because they are sour but scent-wise red apples can smell quite pleasant so I got this. I thought it would be nice to light up “Autumn” during Autumn so I got this from B&BW in the Avenues when they first opened up shop. Sadly, when I burned this, it turned into an earthy scent which could be nice but in this case, “Autumn” wasn’t nice. It smelled too much like those green disposable air fresheners people hang in their cars. Y’know the ones that are shaped like an evergreen tree? I believe that was the fir balsam’s doing. I burned it anyway, and ya’ know what? “Autumn” literally gave me a headache every single time I burned it, even though the scent is not that strong.

Important Stuff : To prevent fire and serious injury: Burn candle within sight, away from things that catch fire, children, and pets (obviously). Trim wick to 0.6cm (1/4 inch) before each relighting (I thought this was helpful). Keep all objects out of the candle (obviously). Do not burn candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time (also useful). Allow to cool before each relighting (cool). Keep out of drafts. That concludes the pearls of wisdom found on the sticker at the bottom of the candle.

Repurchase? No, because the scent gave me a headache.
