Bath and Body Works C.O.Bigelow Lemon Lip Balm

Formulated with a high concentration of lemon oil and extract (3.5%), this addictive Lemon Lip Balm is packed with vitamins and minerals, providing a major dose of vitamin C. 100% natural lemon flavor provides a tangy burst, while ultra-moisturizing shea butter (1%) nourishes and conditions lips. The creamy formula glides on smooth, leaving lips feeling soft and moisturized.

  • Softens, soothes and cares for lips with vitamin C-rich lemon and super-nourishing shea butter
  • Untinted balm prevents dryness and chapping while providing a dew-kissed sheen
  • Developed by Bigelow Chemists
  • Made with Honest, Genuine and Trustworthy Ingredients

Packaging: C.O. Bigelow Lemon Lip Balm comes in cheerful yellow bullet form with black base that you twist to get the product out.  It’s light because it’s mostly made out of plastic. The info written on the packaging looks vintage which I think is pretty cool.  For (KD2/500) you get 3.7g/.13oz which some might say is a little pricey but there’s always a buy 2 get 1 free sale going on for this product. So you get 3 for the price of 2 which is a pretty sweet deal.

Color: It goes on clear with a very slight shine (so subtle in fact, that men can get away with using it) that goes away after a short while.

Scent: Let’s put it this way, when I have this on, people ask me what’s that delicious smell. My nose can detect the scent of lemons but its not sharp nor tangy. Honestly, this smells like some sort of delicious, lemon-y dessert.

Taste: Not only does it smell lovely but it tastes wonderful as well. To me, it tastes like lemonade and if you’ll check the ingredients you’ll see that this actually has Vitamin C. How cool is that?

Properties: The texture of the balm is so soft that you have to be gentle with it otherwise it might break off. I wasn’t careful with mine so it got bent to the side making it wiggle when I apply it. Other than that, this wonderful lip balm has done something that many other lip balms have failed to do. It healed my chapped lips. I don’t know about you but in my book, that makes it a keeper.

So to recap, a creamy lip balm that smells great, tastes even better, is actually healthy for you, heals chapped lips, all while keeping your lips soft and supple. Love it so much I’m going back for 3 more.

Tips&Tricks: Stick this in the fridge before applying, to make it an even more refreshing treat for you lips.

  1. Thanks Babble, I actually pop almost everything in the fridge from perfume to lipgloss. It makes them last longer when you store them in a cool dry place plus it’s fun to apply them straight out of the fridge, especially on hot summer days (which is basically almost everyday in Kuwait) lol
